I have used this company many times with different computing items. Very good price.
$704 INC GST is a great deal for this card and reputable supplier.

  • Yeah price in title, isn't this the card that had heat issues?

No, that's the Evoke. This is the good one.

From the review I have read, this is one of the coolest and quiets 5700 XT cards.

  • Shipping is a miller $16 bucks for Perth WA.

  • Cheaper on ebay with free delivery. Probably cheaper elsewhere but this was the first link I saw.

  • Slightly cheaper for $703.20 @ Futu Online, no shipping cost either

$700 dollars however is a lot to pay for a 5700XT, the Gigabyte variant is much easier on the wallet and it has decent cooling to noise ratio. Reviews on YT

Was looking at getting this card - might opt for the Pulse for ~$650 instead though.

    • Pulse is highly rated

  • I got my 5700 non-XT for 477 in the last eBay sale.

Yes it is reference board, but still overclocked to XT level using undervolt and the infamous 'washer mod', while maintaining an acceptable noise level. Much better value IMHO.

But of course, if you don't want to mess around with undervolting and doing the washer mod, best get an AIB XT.

So the modded 5700 can oc up to 5700xt level but surely the XT can then be oc'ed higher?

      • Yep, the Xt can certainly OC a little higher, but not much higher, but it will also draw a lot more power and generate a lot more heat while doing so.

    • If there wasn't much of a risk with cracking the card with the washer mod i would purchase a card and attempt it but besides from that you also lose the manufacturer warranty which i would prefer to have when spending $500 on a card.

      • The risk of cracking the card is very minimal. The biggest drawback would be the loss of warranty, but meh…

I am now running the 5700 using the XT Anniversary Edition BIOS (through Morepowertool), plus additional overclocking on top of it. :)

Terrible company. There are countless threads on Whirlpool discussing MegaBuy. Here's one such thread. 80 pages worth of orders not being shipped, cancelled, warranty refused, etc.

They also operate under a ton of different company names so you will see many other names being mentioned in that thread, but at the end of the day it's still the same people behind it all. For example:

    • This.
      I'm surprised they're still around.

Might as well get a 2070 Super at this price. 5700XT only starts to make sense below $650.

that's the card I'm looking at getting, not many deals around at the moment :(
