Thanks for commenting, it set off my notifications :D

      Cross fingers!

  • I was just looking at one of these yesterday, but decided against it because of the price tag. I pulled the trigger for this price though! Hopefully this gets honoured, thanks OP.

  • Cheapest Price I've seen, great find!

The technology around this product is a load of hot air.

  • Price protection time…

  • Just within TRS window, thanks!

A lot of un-sponsored reviews on youtube are bagging this product. Perhaps check a reviewer with your/giftees hair type to see if it is any good. Even the positive reviews say it is slower than a regular curling iron and blew hotter than they expected/wanted.

I’ve had mine for 2 months now, honestly love all 3 brush attachments. The actual curlers, they’re okay. I have very short, thick and straight hair, so it doesn’t grip as well as I’d like. The hair dryer is pretty good. The only thing is, people say it’s not hot, but it gets HOT, I just change the heating and blowing levels.

I’m not the type of girl who spends time doing her hair, but this is worth it on the fact that it makes my hair feel silky smooth, doesn’t damage it and also I’ve had tons of compliments when I do decide to do my hair.

If you’ve got disposable income, then yeah by any means go for it.

      • +3

Looks like lots of people have disposable income, its sold out.

  • Forgetting the curling and styling, how does this go as a hair dryer? Could you get one of these and not get a Dyson hair dryer separately - I could see a value proposition there.

    • +1

Yeah, the Dyson hair dryer is more powerful, but this works also, has a normal drying attachment

    • +1

I bought the normal one after trying this in store, I found the attachment with this one isn't enough for a proper blowdry. The attachment is much smaller compared to the hairdryer and is only enough to dry hair before you curl/style as it can't be done on wet hair.
I have thick hair about mid-back length so found the hairdryer better suited. If only I had the moolah to buy this one too.

I have thick, naturally waved, mid-length black hair. When I blow dry with my Parlux dryer it takes 10-15 mins to completely dry. When I use this one it takes about the same amount of time. (blow drying using blow-dry attachment first, then using the brush attachment to brushing until completely dry)
But the results I got are completely different.
With a regular hair dryer, I got the thick and dull everyday hairstyle, like I don't even care. I got silky and slick style with Dyson like just got out of a hair salon.
Just to remember there's a learning curve before you can style your hair perfectly. But I think it gets easier every time you use it. Imagine how convenient you use only one hand to blow/brush while your other hand can assist whatever you want to style your hair.
There's a bonus if you can share with your family. My husband found it very useful for himself as he always has difficulty to get his hair manageable.
I will probably sell my Parlux dryer, as a result of my family haven't used it after owning Dyson airwrap for a month.

    $639.20 for a hairdryer/curler/thingy??

Man I must be getting old.

Maserati of curler, priceless moment when handing this to wife as christmas gift

      • +1

so its an unreliable trash car of a hair curler?

        • since it cost 600 dollars more than yesterdays myer cancellation reckon you'll be ok…

      • I'd get "WHY DID YOU WASTE OUR MONEY ON THIS" and she'd scorn me for the rest of the year.

  • this one is $625 using code PUPPER, https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/274061224059

If this order gets cancelled I would assume that is because Dyson is controlling the price with its retailers in some form.

"If" the order is cancelled, I have grabbed some screenshots and will lodge a complaint with the ACCC for Dyson's anti competitive behaviour. I make this statement after reading a few ebay comments to sellers where people left negative feedback about orders being cancelled after using coupon codes to reduce the price. (sellers being Myer and TGG)

    Still hoping Myer process it.

  • Has anyone had their order marked as posted yet?

    • +3

I received my order today. Suspiciously fast but not complaining lol

I can confirm that Auspost has my parcel in transit!
