    Lucky Charms: 422g

    Why 422 ?

    • +1

      its 2 more than 420

    • Because that's what 14.9 ounces is in grams, rounded down to the nearest gram.

      • Because that's what 14.9 ounces is in grams

        Why 14.9 ounces ?

        That's hardly a round number…

    • That's how many ribbons the leprechaun tied around trees.

Hate these spurious nutrition tables on American foods. Serving size 3/4 of a cup? Crock of shit.

    • +6

They aren't called seppos for nothing

    • spoiler it's because they're full of shit

    • +1

Our labelling is just as bad. Those continental one serve pasta packs? The label says one serve is A THIRD of the pack. That’s about a cupful. Who eats a cup of pasta?

      • Yeh but the Australian ones have per 100g amount so you can easily calculate the amount and also we have the macro nutrient amounts. American table is deliberately obfuscated, to their demise.

      • Same thing with kit kat chunky's. They are 3 servings

  • Got me some Cheerios Honey Nut Giant Size 771g

Anyone tried the Lucky Charms? Worth getting?

    • +3

YES. They might kill you but it will be worth it.

      • -1

        My thoughts exactly

    • +2

Marshmellows for breakfast what could go wrong?

    • Size 771g

Did you weigh it to check if it really was 771g?

  • -1

Partially produced with genetic engineering YIKES (for ref giant size second pic at the bottom)

    • +4

Almost all corn in America is GE

      • -6

        ?

  • +5

Could you tell us how you came across this? Thanks 💐🙏

    • +5

      Underrated comment.

      You found his lucky charms!

    • +1

There was an amazon deal on Reeces Pieces cereal and someone mentioned lucky charms in the comments.

  • +15

Thanks OP, I've just been told by my GP that my diet is deficient in magic unicorn marshmallows, so this comes at a perfect time

  • Lucky charms are gluten free..! I honestly don't get how this could pass as a breakfast

    • +7

You not sure if it can pass as breakfast because it has no gluten or another reason?

    • I didn’t think oats were gluten free

    • I agree man, all breakfasts should contain gluten (unless you're intolerant or whatever)

  • +7

Poison your kids with colours, flavours and sugar for less!!!

    • +21

I'm gonna poison myself with it. The kids can get their own.

    • +1

I buy aldi cereals… Like $2 to $4 a box… Wheres the deal other than its american stuff.

      • +1

        It's not the same?

        • +1

          Lol i was just trolling.

  • This stuff is awesome.

  • +4

Thanks been really wanting some honey nut cheerios.
These are excellent prices. Shame they don't have some of the other staples like cinnamon toast crunch, Capn Crunch ect.

    • Of all these cereals I think the Honey Nut Cheerios are the most worth a try as something that's not over the top sweet, and fairly reasonably priced here. Wish we could get regular NA oat Cheerios here, the domestic ones only coming in multigrain just aren't the same.

  • +6

So many health experts coming out of the woodwork. Tell me, what do you guys have for breakfast?

    • +15

I have half a piece of asparagus and a lung of fresh air from the peak of Everest.

    • +1

The glorious smell of my own farts.

    • -2

surely you're having a lend? You'd have to be stunningly ignorant to eat any of these cereals thinking they were even remotely good for you.

      • +2

I didn't say they were good for anyone, but people her pretending they're eating gluten-free kale every morning are deluding themselves. What's the standard breakfast here I wonder…

        • +3

again, you can't be serious? People have been pointing out how terrible this stuff is, not how immaculate their own diets are, and even if they were it's not like making a bowl of oats and throwing some dried berries on it is difficult.

          • +1

@diamondd: You seem to be taking this way too seriously, perhaps you need to review your diet? I don't really care what people eat; if people want to eat a bowl of sugar and artificial flavours I say let them go for it.

      • +1

Thanks Michelle Bridges, any other nutritional advice?

      • My father overindulges in unhealthy eating and Whisky and is outliving all the people who lectured him about health during his lifetime. If you do lecture others, you'd better get results.

    • +2

I don't eat breakfast.. fast from dinner to lunch (16:8)

      • Reeeee you’ve got to eat 3 main meals and at least 2 snack meals, consume more resources…

    • Tbf I'm not a health freak but I avoid cereal like the plague. The combo of IGF-1 in milk and the metric tonne of sugar in the cereal is enough to give me outrageous pimples as they wreak havoc on your insulin response system. A hell of a lot of modern health problems stem from insulin issues too so it's not just people with shitty skin like me.

As for replacement, I usually have eggs, spinach, tomato, avo, some balsamic vinegar and occasionally a bit of bacon. It's not crazy healthy but it goes a loooong way in solving my skin stuff with the added benefit of not having an energy crash an hour into the work day.

  • +4

Those overpriced stalls in shopping malls selling overpriced American cereals here must be sweating Amazon starting offering these. Hopefully can get me some cheap captain crunch

  • Im going to get your lucky charms https://youtu.be/AkcENPBZT1s

  • Stick to the $6 1.2kg nutrigrain costco bargain

  • +1

Omg yes! I was craving lucky charms but didn't want to pay the $13 for a small box to get it locally. Thanks OP!

  • +1

I did one of the summer camps years ago in the USA. They had this cereal and it was legit just small choc chip cookies. I came close to madness trying to find it here in Australia, but they just can't get the crunch right.

  • From what I've read, the Super Mario Amiibo cereal tastes just like Lucky Charms and that was delicious!

    • +1

      Bring back the Kelloggs Pokemon cereal, it's basically just lucky charms anyone but with n o s t a l g i a

  • +1

Thanks I just bought a big box of Lucky Charms to try. I reckon it'll go great with ice cream!

    • +1

I think the lucky charms need to be soggy or you will gag.

      • +1

the ice cream unless melted will make them go rock hard

might be ok if you put them in and wait a bit

        • Thanks! Having never had them before I wasn't sure of the texture. I might have to stick to good old milk :D.

  • Cheaper to buy a bag of Mars Bar fun size, pour in a bowl with milk.

  • I missed out on the Reeces yesterday. Bless you OP.

  • +3

Needs more cinnamon toast crunch, tbh

    • Not wrong! All out of stock.

  • Doing my best to resist and stick to my healthy ass yoghurt, berries, muesli and honey 😔

  • i really want the french toast cereal… if anyone sees it for cheap!

  • I've added these to my cart, 5 boxes, total of $40, but it's still charging me $39 for shipping. Why is that?

My box of Lucky Charms Giant Size arrived 1 week after order.

Box was a bit beat up since it was shipped in a bag but I don't mind.

    Absolutely delicious. It's the marshmallows.

Use by date was August 2020.

    Edit. It's Guilt Gluten Free!

    • How strange, mine came in a box and in perfect condition. It even had lots of packing bubbles in there!

Not sure I could call the charms "marshmallows" though! They are quite crunchy!

I really can't believe this passes as breakfast cereal… it just tastes like sugar!

    • Mine has seemingly been lost in transit. Unfortunate, was looking forward to seeing what these cereals were like!

      • Try Fruit Loops. It's basically the same.
