    Larry 1 was what got me hooked in adventure games. I replayed it a couple of years back and couldn't believe how short it was.

    Still, a bit of a classic I'm sure most people in their 30's and 40's caught some of when they were teens.

    Not sure about the rest of the Larry games though.

    was magna cum laude the last one? i actually liked that. I think there was some other one after that that came out but it was really poor wasnt there? Doesnt seem to be in this collection, prolly a good thing, heh.

    I vaguely remember the boxes/packaging had a scratch and sniff which is somehow tied to the gameplay??

      I remember managing to get a hold of a copy of LSL1 in grade 8 (mum didn't know of course) and looking back now I still think it was a better game than today's MA15+ violent FPS that most grade 8's now play.

    "Wet dreams don't dry" isn't part of this but is also recommended. Magna cum laude was my favourite. Box office bust was probably the worst game I've ever played.

    Larry Laffer has taught me more than school ever did.

    In 1989 I was pulled into the Principal's office at my primary school.
    On the ancient old CGA PC's, I'd found on the hard drives, a copy of Leisure Suit Larry and the Land of the Lounge Lizards.
    Installed by a teacher at the school (I never found out who it was).

    Anyway, being savvy enough at a time when most kids couldn't do much with a PC (remember, 1989); I'd trawled through the hard drive in a very old MS/Dos on an IBM (back when they made them) — and struck gold.

    I ran it, in class (not knowing what it was)… and the opening scene at the bar (with a now Minecraft-worthy naked woman poster behind the bar) surprised the teacher who thought I'd installed it. It surprised me too. I was promptly sent off for interrogation and perhaps punishment.

    Anyway, I was let go with a warning: "Don't do it again". Lol. Uncover misuse of school property by a teacher?? Fun times.
