So after the fun episode of 300 dollar mavica from Bunnings a few of us are left with 250 dollar vouchers to spend at Bunnings. As a uni student who rents a room away from home I don’t see much need from items from Bunnings and was wondering what I’d be interested in. Have spent a fair deal of time looking at the store and can’t find many things. Any good deals or stuff from Bunnings you all would recommend?

Sell it!
Indoor plants. They liven up any room.
Go for a wander around and im sure youll fill your trolley with $1000 worth of stuff easily
Put it towards an outdoor setting. Enjoy the fresh air :)
Uni student. High probability of urban living. Fresh air? Unlikely.
Bunnings outdoor settings aren't the best quality. They require constant upkeep if they're exposed to the elements.
Well it. As a student, that's like 5 months of instant noodles
Two sausages each Saturday for nearly a whole year.
I'll give you $100 for it. Buy noodles
Buy some 21st presents…
Safety Glasses, Earmuffs, (nobody ever wants to buy these, so give them as a present) Hammer and Screwdriver Set.
Or esky's (but they're not as easy to store)These are things everyone eventually needs and likely dont have at 21.
Believe me, you can find something. Ring video doorbell. Some plants/fruit trees for your deck or parents house. Some tools you might use in future. Philips Hue kits/lights. Car cleaning stuff. That's just a few ideas, if you can't find something at Bunnings there is something wrong with you ;)
If you really can't use it, sell it for $100 on the classifieds or PM me and i'll take it :)Digital safe
Xmas lights
There are quite a few people selling theirs in the classifieds for $220.
I'd say take the $220 and feed yourself for a month.
Alternatively hold on to it and use it when you need something like screwdrivers or a drill kit. Could come in handy one day and it doesn't expire.
Are they selling though? If I was buying a gift card I would want a lot more than 20% off, especially knowing how they were obtained
What does "how they were obtained" have to do with the value of them?
In the event that they're "legally" obtained, then nothing…
@ESEMCE: Perhaps I've missed something … is there something dodgy here?
@Seraphin7: Nah just agreeing with you.
Pointing out the one exception where you'd want a substantial discount!@ESEMCE: Agreed. If it's hot, I'm gunna need some sweetner in that coffee!
If he can't sell one on the classified just go and stand outside bunnings offering it to tradies for $200.
What could go wrong.
Gift it for Christmas otherwise use it to buy Christmas gifts
Heatbeads for winter.
Yea maybe turn on your pm so those that are interested to buy can pm you.
done :)
You can redeem the e-gift card for physical cards, if having 5x$50 is more useful to you, e.g. to give as gifts.
12 x $20 for cheaper presents and $10 change!
100 sausage sandwiches
haha
They sell tower fans and heaters:
e.g.
https://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-120cm-rialto-tower-fan-wit…Shouldn't that come with a side tower half its size?
buy a drone
Lol I actually might, been wanting the mavic for years now
Merged from What Are You Buying with Your $250 Bunnings Voucher?
Everyone lucky to have gotten your $250 voucher, what are you getting?
50 double sausages.
Geez if they didnt charge you for double bread you'd be able to afford 55!
How about you buy your dad a present or give the voucher to him
from kiwi land,
voucher not valid over there and can't really carry large items
Swapped it for $250 cash with my colleague who is doing a renovation.
The missus is spending it on paint :(
If in 6 hours, 5 painters use $250 worth of paint working at the same rate per person. What is the cost of paint used in 9 hours, if two more people each working twice as fast as each of the first 5 painters join the crew?
$675
Sell it for $200 cash?
