Help, I bought funds for Nintendo and they still haven’t come through

I just got funds for my Nintendo account through my phone. It’s been over half an hour and they still haven’t come through on my 3DS. I used the right account and everything. It just won’t come through. I literally just wanted to get Pokémon blue for trading purposes. Did I just spend $20 on nothing?? How can I get it back? Will it ever go through? I’m really stressed someone please help me

    I usually hate it when people ask this but - what did Nintendo say when you asked them?

    Chances are it’s one of those systems where funds aren’t immediately available, and if for whatever reason it didn’t come through in the end you could always do a chargeback from your bank

    • I never talked to them, as it’s currently 1:20AM. I am trying to get these funds onto my 3DS XL using the instructions on their website from September. Used that same link and everything. I don’t really know anything about banks and that sort of stuff, as I’m posting for my mum, who is the one who tried to put the money through in the first place. I’m 15, so not super young, but not an adult.

        I’d suggest not losing any sleep over this, although next time it’s probably better if she buys an eshop card for you from the likes of EB so you can do the load yourself.

        Check the balance when you wake up and call Nintendo if the funds still aren’t there.

        Also ask your mum to check her card statement online and see if the transaction actually went through successfully

          Ok, thanks a lot. I actually made her promise me she’d call them if the funds didn’t come through, because I really don’t want to waste her money that she was kind enough to let me use. We definitely should have gotten an eshop card, but it was almost 12AM when this happened haha. Thanks a lot for the help

        Haha did you even read the whole post? I was just worried about loosing money, it normally never takes more than a few seconds. I am completely fine with waiting, just didn’t want to waste $20 for nothing

    was listen to radio, it was a tech help segment,a lady calls in and ask why her hp laptop she recently purchased online has not been delivered yet. tech guy asks, have you called hp?. gold.
