Will it fit with synology ds918+ NAS ?

    • +5

      No, DS918+ takes SODIMMs.

The price drop on memory over the past year is insane. Great deal.

    • Totally no difference when gaming between 16gb and 32gb.

  • If I have a pair of these at 2400MHz and buy a pair of these at 3200MHz, will the 3200MHz one work in unison? ie. is it backwards compatible with respect to the bus speed? Note: The motherboard supports only 2400MHz.

    • +5

It will run at the same speed as the slowest DIMM used.

  • Man, one day I will find my CMR16GX4M2C3000C16 for a similar price!

  • +3

Nice, same set of RAM I have at the moment. Less than half the price I paid to Umart for it back in July last year.

Will these work with AMD? Cause I see separate AMD versions in the list.

Also 3000 C15 vs 3200 C16, does it make a difference for AMD CPUs?

    • +1

No reason they shouldn't if you're using Zen 2. Zen 1/ Zen+ you may not hit the rated XMP speed.

      • Planning to buy the 3600, so I guess I should be fine then.

  • Paid $190 for this kit 8 months ago. RAM prices have really dropped.

  • For $9 more you can get the 3200Mhz version here:
    https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-Vengeance-3200MHz-Desktop-Mem…

You just gotta click link at bottom to change to Aussie prices.

    • There is a shipping charge on those that you have linked. Total comes to AUD 127.94

      If you want 3200Mhz version:
      https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0143UM4TC?th=1
      $115.15 with prime.

      • Those are 3200 C16 instead of 3000 C15, will there be a difference in performance if I pair it with 3600 CPU?

        • A tiny bit, you probably won't notice it at all

          • @bender000: Ok! Thanks.

      • Only shows $5.65 shipping on his link for me, converts to $115ish?

        • +1

I changed the currency to AUD on the US Amazon. Shipping is $5.65 in USD.

$115 is about right, but Amazon US add GST.
