This or Samsung Galaxy Active 2 with buds?

    • Fitbit products are garbage.

      • Well their customer service / support is limited to only authorised resellers.

So that's like dog shit on fire.

Good price, crap product… I'd never touch a Fitbit again, battery dies, won't boot, regular resets required, hardware falls apart, customer service from Fitbit direct is terrible.

If you get one and have an issue take it back to the retailer and get a refund then buy it again (or not) because Fitbits interpretation of a 1 year warranty is 1 year from first purchase not from when they last replaced it.

I highly recommend you save your money and buy anything else but Fitbit (Mi Band 4, Garmin etc)

The warranty is 2 years in Australia as of last year: https://www.accc.gov.au/media-release/fitbit-misled-customer…

I've had problems with the band falling apart, but Fitbit has always been happy to send out replacements.

    • I had a charge 1 for years, and replaced it with a Charge 3 last year when I lost it.

Never had a single issue with either one.

Sounds like maybe their products are getting worse then? My Charge 2 is about two years old now, and I've never had any of the issues you've listed. Only isue I've had is that I needed to replace the band after 18 months.

    • I grabbed one of these for $134 during the Amazon Prime Sale in July and the only issue I have had is a required restart once when it would not sync to the mobile App. I have to recharge the device maybe once a fortnight and have found it to be a great tool for fitness. I wear it every day and heart monitoring has been very valuable for tracking.

People have a tenancy to over rate their fitness ability. Reality is always a shock.

  • I keep on getting "This code can't be applied to your order." Any ideas?

I had problems with my account's currency recently but before that I have purchase things ok.

    TIA,
    Ashley.
