Be nice to to see 5G variants going on sale soon. I keep my phones for 2-3 years so a 5G-capable new phone now would be good to have.
Officeworks is now $999 so can't use price match now.
I've tried 2 computers and a phone. I have tried chrome, safari and firefox. Nothing gets me past the address validation step when trying to redeem the buds. What a joke!
I contacted support - they said they are aware of the issue and are "working hard to fix it".
Same thing is still happening to me over 15 times on two browsers two Wi-Fi connections through multiple VPN servers last night and this morning
Well that's a lie, it would take them no time to post a message on their page, or alternatively they could disable the validation and contact customers who enter in a bad address (they have our email addresses).
So looking into the error I see;
Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://ws3.ondemand.qas.com/ProOnDemand/V3/ProOnDemandService.asmx' from origin 'https://www.samsung-redemption.com' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
So I assume Samsung are using Experian's QAS service which is notorious for flaking out.
I re-tried to claim on 11 oct late afternoon and it went through.
Finally got it to work. Tried multiple times on computer with home wifi NBN, using chrome/mozilla, didnt work. Then I tried using my mobile 4G connection and it went through. Might be some ISPs have firewalls that prevent access to Samsung's address verification system?
thanks for this tip. kept trying on the computer and it didn't work. but it went straight through when submitting the form on the mobile on 4G!
Hi all,
Thanks for posting the offer OP!
I bought this from JB HI FI online and had it delivered yesterday - I am concerned that it may not be considered a "retail store" when reading the offer terms and conditions (https://www.samsung.com/au/galaxy-offer/terms/)
The tax invoice does make it clear it is an online purchase.
Does anyone know whether the JB HI fi online store would be acceptable for the galaxy buds redemption?
I bought online and get extra 5% disc, today got the email that it has been approved.

Hi all
I bought this mobile phone $999 in the JB HI-FI store yesterday, but they didn't give me an extra discount of 5%.
They said it excludes mobile phones and contracts.
Now I feel cheated by them when I see this thread.
BTW:I also cant pass the address validation step to redeem buds
you have to do it online and enter the code. CMIIW
but I got the discount , paid $949.05
If you got a price protection credit card, you can buy now. I brought in March and have now reduced what I paid to 999
