you apply the code before payment screen on website too.
No area to apply voucher on payment screen on the website.
I checked again. For a $400 hotel there is a small section that you can apply the discount code. For a $200 hotel that section is not available on the payment screen on the website.
I had the same for a booking that had the free cancellation, if i chose the pay now option the coupon field then appeared
Thanks OP. The 12% worked on Apple Mac for me.
still cheaper on booking.com for me even with discount
Anyone knows payment using credit card to Wotif and booking charges oversea transaction fee?

Not negging the deal per se (apologies OP) but to alert people to the following "promise", which is BS in my experience. Won't go into the details, suffice to say they (offshore customer service) told me 18 months ago that this was no longer in vogue, yet here I see it still on the Wotif website. Couldn't be bothered reporting them to the ACCC because as we know that mob only acts on a tiny number of complaints. In the end Wotif gave me a small voucher with an expiry as compensation but I didn't need it and refuse to deal with them again anyway.
"Relax with our Price Promise
Find a lower price on a hotel or package online up to 24-hours prior to check in and we'll refund the difference* - we've got your back"
Price matching is a joke in this industry. They won't accept quotes in different currencies (they complain about their OWN conversion fees), quotes with 1 day or less difference in cancellation date, quotes that use codes…. the list goes on and on.
Thanks OP, saved $25.09.
Dodgy website… the only way to apply the coupon is via the Wotif App. When I found the hotel on their website (still available), then use the App to book (so I could apply the discount code). The App said the room no longer available. Revisited the website it said that hotel is still available.
