Does it make a (big) difference who I use? I was looking at NRMA but their prices seem a little high. Would their findings yield more information than another independent inspector?
I'm not so worried about price, just want to make sure the check is done right and thoroughly. Does anyone have indicative experience using NRMA or other companies such as Redbook inspections?
Cheers.
Sorry I can't give a comparison, but I've always gone with State Roads. They're well-recommended on forums, the thinking is that a company whose sole business is to do inspections would put more effort into making sure they do a good job, as opposed to going with an organization where inspections is just a minor side thing that they do.
I can send you the report from my last inspection if you'd like to see what they look like.
