[PC] Super Flatout Steam Bundle (Flatout 1-4) US $7.49 (~AU $11) @ Indiegala

100

A little old, but 5 fun car racing, smashup games. Flatout 1,2 & Ultimate Carnage were made by Bugbear, the makers of Wreckfest, though Flatout 3 & 4 were made by others and trashed the franchise.

Has not been cheaper before according to ITAD, though some of the individual games have been quite cheap.
If I had to pick one of the five, it would be Ultimate Carnage, but even that is not currently available this cheap on it's own.

Windows only, but some might work on Linux & Mac through Steam or Wine. Edit: confirmed for Linux using Wine and/or Steam's Proton compatibility later for 1,2,Ultimate Carnage,3,4, and for all versions on the Proton Site, which probably means all would work on Mac using Wine.

Includes;
Flatout, rated very positive on steam
Flatout 2, rated very positive on steam
Flatout Ultimate Carnage, an HD version of Flatout 2, rated very positive on steam
Flatout 3, rated overwhelmingly negative on steam
Flatout 4, rated mixed on steam

Just remember to skip 3 and 4, they're not by the original developer (Bugbyte, who moved on to Ridge Racer Unbounded and Wreckfest, both of which I can definitely recommend) and are… not that good, to put it kindly.

But of the first three I'll agree with OP and say Ultimate Carnage is the best.

  • I thought this said Fallout and I was so confused with the writeup.

The PSP one of these games was great, only one I played.

  • First thing that comes to mind when talking about destruction car racing games is first twisted metal, rogue trip and destruction derby.

Oh man I loved destruction derby on the playstation 1.

Wipeout 2097 was also an all time fave I would pre order a remake or remaster of that honestly.

Wish they would bring it to pc or steam.

    • Me too. Wipeout 2097 <3

      Qirex + Gare d'Europa!

I don't think it has ever been possible to play that track since the original 2097 release?

      • Iconic map.

I forgot the name since the only track i played to death was Talon's Reach.

It seems to be $7.49 USD (around $11 AUD) for me, unless I’m doing something wrong? Still a good deal though.

    • You are correct. Thanks, fixed!
