I've used the app for the first time recently thanks to the $17 cashback but I noticed it was somewhat overpriced compared to Ubereats, they even hit you with a hidden service fee at the end (not the delivery fee).

    • I ordered yesterday and didn't see any hidden fee. Delivery was free. My can of coke was missing so I was offered $15 credit without even going on chat/ customer service.

    • do you mean overpriced in terms of the price of the food is more expensive on the app menu than as if you went to the restaurant in person?

Be warned that restaurants are added without their knowledge, so you place an order and doordash will order that for you, not direct like other companies.

Multiple restaurants in Melbourne have called them out on it.
