Saw this instore at Penrith Sydney. On clearance - not sure if its nationwide.Plenty of stock was available. Pre- owned is on sale @ EB for $4 and new @ 11.98. Cheapest price around if you are after a physical copy.

Will be ten times better being a first person shooter on pc/steam. But this is a top deal for a console physical copy for the thumb stick lover. Good hunting Optimus.

It's actually an obsolete version of the game entirely now. Destiny 2 as is on the disk, does not exist anymore. It's now called Destiny 2 - New Light.

The New Light update requires a full download of the game. If you have the disc version installed you'll have to uninstall it first. The physical copy is nothing more than a paperweight now and not even a very good one at that.
Saw it for $5 @ my local Target in WA, too.

They release the game at full price without microtransactions, wait a week for all the "reviews" by the "journalists", add in every single method they can think of to scam additional money out of their dumbo users and then wait for it to collapse like it was always going to in the current live service shit show.
Yes, free to download and purchase loots or whatever if the consumers decide to. Instead of paying for a worthless disc because you'd need to download massive patches and dlc's anyway if you really want to get into the game. I'm sure more money is made through microtransactions.
I know there are more than a handful of free to download online only games/shooters available for consoles, and you only spend real money on mt.
As previously mentioned, this game is now free to play. Paying anything for it is a rip off.

It's been announced that it was going to be F2P for some months now, but only since beginning of October that it was available across all platforms as F2P Destiny New Light
Good deal if you don't want to download the game and just want a physical copy instead.
If you think there won't be many updates to download, you're in for a bad time.
It'll make the process a bit quicker at least 🤷
As of last patch, it's about 97GB. Good luck.

So it's good for people that have slow internet or a internet cap.

If the game could be played offline then this may have been a deal in a limited set of circumstances but honestly these should just be shipped off to recycling plant at this point. Seems like a bad deal to sucker Mums and Dads who don't know better to deal with Targets stock issue.
You are literally making things harder and more expensive for yourself or whoever you buy this for by buying this.
OzB should be doing PSA and putting F2P stickers in stores where they see this pricing advertised.
