Xbox One S 1TB, 2 Controllers, Rainbow 6 Siege, FIFA20, Gears of War 4 Digital $349 @ EB Games

140

After the JB deal turned out to be a false starter, started looking for another. Found on EBGames website for c&c only. Not a great deal but extra controller for $20.
Comes with 2 controllers, and 3 games - Rainbow 6 siege, Fifa 20, and gears of war 4 as a digital download code.

    It’s $349, BTW..

  • Is there a code to make it cheaper than displayed price? Or is 349 the price?

    • Buy discounted gift cards from places like Cash Rewards at 5% off.

Also, there are no active coupon codes at the moment.

  • I just picked this bad boy up, they have a number of other bundles for $319 to suit the games you might be more interested.

  • Just in case someone is interested, I have one with 1TB and to be sincere it is not worth the extra money, I will explain why.
The internal hard drive used with XBoX and PlayStation has speed limitation, with that said games will take longer to load, slower saving, etc.

Both consoles have USB 3.0, on top of that, buy a 3.0/3.1 USB External Hard Drive and used it to save the games. Benefices:

    • Speed: It is gonna be much faster, games that takes ages to load when using the internal hard drive will load twice as fast using USB 3.0 without losing the warranty.
    • Speed2: If you have a basic knowledge with technology, you can built and USB 3.0 external SSD drive or USB 3.0 external NVMe drive which is going to load 10x faster than above without losing the warranty.
    • Mobility, if your console crashes for any reason or you are buying a new model or even you are spending some time somewhere where there is a console and you wanna play your games, bring your external hard drive with you, connect it to the console, login with your account and voila. All your games will be available there.

The next generation will come with SSD by default.

I did this with my previous PlayStation and now with my XBoX One S. No regrets.

It appears that all the new versions now have the 1tb internal. My One X has 2 1tb SSD external drives for games. The kids One S has a 500gig SSD and 500gig internal.
Games load faster. I load into games faster than my mates on fast NBN(I'm still on ADSL2.)
      Highly recommended the SSD option.

      • I am planing to upgrade my external hard drive to a SSD NVMe. I have some laptops here in the company using SSD NVMe and h*ly (profanity). SSD is nothing close to a NMVe. I do have fiber at home but I am an offline player, I only play campaign :P
You have a great setup tho :)

  • you make a good point but a portable 1TB solid state drive costs about as much as this console deal… and i'm pretty sure the XboxoneX has a 1TB solid state drive anyway. the older elite console came with a hybrid 500G SSD too…

"portable 1TB solid state drive costs about as much as this console deal"

In which world have you been living? HAHAHAHAH

      • portable samsung t5 SSD 1TB… 278… officeworks. well… that's the price at officeworks here on earth… in the current reality that i exist.

Nah that's too expensive. Grab one of the 1tb 860 Samsung's that come up all the time. I paid $170 for mine. Get a usb 3.0 enclosure off eBay or Amazon. Paid less than $10, and you have a portable SSD. That's how I do all mine. I prefer the clear cases just so I know which ones they are.

  • The 2nd controller makes this a sweet deal

  • Bugger all stock anywhere, despite what the (useless) website says.

    • Yeah website sucks. I called 3 that said they had them and only 1 did. They also aren't great for help over the phone. One said I had to come in store. I just said so that's a no from me.

  • Damn, looking forward to some One X deals through EB
