Was browsing through Officeworks North Ryde and found this great special on Sharpies. Only 50c instead of your standard $1.84. Two types of pen thickness, 0.3mm and 1mm, and every colour is included except for black. A better deal than the one posted recently (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/48532).
I cannot confirm if they are at any other officeworks but those nearby North Ryde will enjoy!!!
I think it's that price wherever there is stock. If you go to the OW website and search for sharpie, you will see that some styles and colours are discounted to $0.50. I seem to remember I've seen that price here and there. So if you find a branch with stock, good for you. And thanks for the post, mike0407.
It'd be better business for OW if they make the 50cent Sharpie prices…

I'd like to know that too? I have a black Artline CD/DVD marker but it does not show up very well on my Blue coloured discs :(

They work perfectly on my Verbatim DVD's.
all of them except the main 4; black, blue, red & green are all 50c on the online store (except for rose which is 32c), so I assume that means that they're all that price in store
Stocks confirmed at Morley officeworks. Didn't realise until i went to the checkout lol, they were on the candy line. Got myself some ;)
I bought one for 50c from OW Oxley, in Brisbane, about 3 weeks ago.
At the time, they only had ultra fine, and thick. They had black, and several colours. I bought a purple.
They were in a bin near the front of the store.

They had 3 colours at the midland store lots of stock I got 4 didn't do a good job on my blue disk but thats not the pens fault :)
not all that price in store, North Sydney OW had them for 75c in a bin near the front of store.
Are they the ones listed for 50c in the catalogue? If so you should point that out to them. On the other hand maybe they are the undiscounted ones and you are getting a manager's discount on those.

The prices for these sharpies are the same across all Officeworks stores regardless of the location. They are indeed on clearance, and once stock runs out in a particular store, they will no longer have them. If you went to an Officeworks and they are marked higher then 50c, get them to scan it. If it is like the one 'girliebird' said, they are probably the wrong ones or they are marked wrong.

Various colours and thicknesses at Officeworks at Browns Plain, QLD for 50 cents. There was about 7 different ones.
I'm a bit unhappy as they had the sign on the wrong markers and one of the ones I grabbed rang up at 5 times the price, which I didn't notice at the time. However they did issue a refund and remove the incorrect sign when I went back.
They're 50c at the store in Keysborough too!
