    In my opinion 3 has the best story and was the most fun. 4 is more of the same as 3 just a little less exciting. and 5 has great graphics and alot of stuff to do but the story is kinda wack and doesnt flow because of the way the map unlocks are laid out.

      Fair summary.

      If you haven't played Primal I'd suggest that; surprisingly engaging - a little grindy early on but decent story/characters and gameplay is good clean flaming-arrow fun - and half the price of the shinier 5.

      … and if you're considering 2 just don't, unless you enjoy dying from malaria and enemies respawning at roadbloacks you cleared 5 seconds earlier.

        Far Cry 2 was by far the best game of it's generation imo. But yeah, compared to today, it's probably pretty dated.

    It's good if you enjoy the open world exploration and mucking around style of these games. The characters and plot were a bit lame in my opinion, with a lot of the side characters being the most interesting and entertaining.

      Shame because it's pretty great. I finished AC: Origins last weekend and FC5 the weekend before it.

      Now trying to finish AC: Odyssey before it ends.

  Farcry 2 was the first open world game I really enjoyed, so much fun.

    Yeah it wasn't perfect, but it had so much atmosphere, as well as great weapon and environmental physics.

  Meh, not very good prices. I paid $9 for Far Cry Primal from EB earlier in the year. Far Cry 5 is also $24.98 at EB games at the moment, which is less than this.
