  • Used this with a Sintech adapter to replace the ssd in Macbook Air and Pro, so far so good. Great drive.

    • Do you have a linky for that Sintech adapter?

I got mine off ebay when I realised that amazon US wouldn't let me buy 2 for some reason.

        https://ebay.us/jLRkpR

I bought 2 other cheaper noname brands off ebay first that didn't work that I ended up getting refunded but ymmv.

Lots of guides online and some very helpful youtube vids.

          Thanks mate. Much appreciated ;)

  • A lot of talk about slowdown as it fills up and stuff - but for the price I couldn't care :P Has worked well so far.

Just don't lose that tiny M.2 screw!!!

    • I think that slowdown theory is common place with all SSD drives isn't it?

      • QLC nand is much slower.

      • MX500 and EVO 860 SATA SSD's dont slow down.

This or the 1TB Samsung SATA + BL3 deal?
By the specs, this is a faster drive, but real world performance is similar to SATA (fropm the reviews)?
Can prob sell BL3 for $40?

    • Saw a BL3 code sell for $50 on ocau earlier today

  • 3yr warranty kills it for me, sure its cheap and faster but tbh i prefer a mx500 m2 for the reliability.

    • P1 has a 5 year warranty though?

  • Is the 1TB one a good deal?
Mainly to store 1.4GB and 4.4GB files which won't really move around much.
