3.5L is plenty for a family if you're going with a soup/stew/risotto… you know, something made up of lots of small/diced things probably in a liquid instead of something that's a large solid chunk.
But yeah, a 6+L model is better.
Don't agree entirely. A small crockpot at times is beneficial if you dont want to create a massive meal. 6.5 the liquid starts getting a bit shallow for all but the largest dishes

Is Sunbeam a better brand than Kambrook? Good guys have the Kambrook 3L for about the same price I think, but this deal is a better bargain with free delivery (just seemed a little overpriced to me if it's half price)

Good find! But note that the 3.5 litre is only big enough for a couple, not a family. The best size is a 6.5 litre, which can fit a roast & vegies:) They were at Aldi for $29.99.
