  • 2GB? That's pretty useless

Not a fan of Alan Jones then?

This would suit a mini-PC home server or HTPC, or buy two for lightweight mini desktop.
I doubt many people would be buying these now for laptops.

Could nearly start the title with 'Vintage' … this would be a pretty niche product given capacity and speed.

    • That will be very generic no brand. For $10 extra, I'd take this. Most os' will be very unhappy if the ram plays up.

But yeah, different product on the neg. They DON'T however say why this is a bargain, so there is a valid cause for the neg.

      • It'll be a mixed bag. You might find some name brands.

      • Not necessarily, CEX have generic spec ranges.
Lucky dip if you pay the $3 to have one mailed to you, alternatively cherry pick stock in store.
As an example I’ve cherry picked several K skew CPUs from the non K pile in store at CEX 4 times in the last 12 months.

Alternatively, if you have a CEX local to you, could always pickup 11 sticks and have 50c left over for a gym ball for the same price as 1 of the advertised.

    • Only available in store.

        CEX post for $3.
Note stock level for online store as well as check store stock option.

the photo shows it as 8GB and 2rx8…. lol what an unprofessional site

    • It is mentioned in the description clearly : "Picture is for reference only. Actual product appearance may differ depending on the model."

Is it still 2007 or something?!?

  • OP, what “saving” is offered?
    This is OzBargain, not OzAdvertise.

Hey smartyhome, why not try create a deal on some of your mini PCs? The ones with Ryzen processors could have potential.

  • I'm negging because I see this as an advert rather than a bargain.

  • Does this work with a Ryzen EPYC or dual Xeon 28 cpus? /s

  • Think the negs have been mostly harsh
