A can of drink doesn't last myself more than a few minutes so…

I treat it as a fancy steel stubby holder

Its not about keeping your drink cold, but your hands warm in winter.

That's old price, my local one already start marking down to $7.99

  • Anyone spotted the Thermos food flasks at aldi?

I have a couple of these. I prefer to drink out of a glass (a glass better than glass stubbies better than cans I reckon) and managed to find a glass at the back of the cupboard that fits beautifully with a nice seal at the top of the holder. Apparently the seal really helps keep the cold in as don't get convention losses from air movement in the gap between the holder and the contents. Also, stubbies tend to rattle around in the holder which is a bit annoying.

Ummmm yes, I do like a cold beer as it happens.

Thermos be a lot of unsold stock.

  • I bought two of these at my local Aldi (Arndale, Kilkenny SA) for $6.99 each. There were about 20 of them there at the time. According to the label, they are supposed to keep a can cool for 10 hours, not 3 as stated in the Amazon description, and confirmed on the Thermos web site.

  • Aldi now selling these for 5.95
