EDIT: ****Decided not to go ahead with car purchase****
Please feel free to comment your thoughts on the car but not my personal decision :)
Dear all,
Shitty times, trying to cover up sadness with purchases (I know i know, but i made up my mind) + i wanted to upgrade my car for a while now.
budget: 27k (i can do upto 2017 model)- finance
Current car is worth 10k- not sure if i should get loan for 17 or get car loan for 27k and use 10k for something else? what are your suggestions.
Must have- Ventilated seats, Great sound system, AEB, Adaptive Cruise, Leather seats,Memory seats, Turbo- 110kw+ / Non turbo 125kw+ , comfy ride, warranty/ brand reputation, Not very bland looks
Great to have - Panoramic Sunroof
Options- Not sure which cars in australia have ventilated seats, i only know camry/i30 sr premium/ optima gt
Tried
Optima GT-YAY- premium features - NAYFuel economy
i30 SR- YAY Engine -NAY wish there was more space
Cerato GT - YAY everything NAY Harsh ride - wish i could do something about this
New Mazda 3 touring - YAY -Sound system, Premiumness - NAY-price, ride bit stiff
yet to try
FOrd Mondeo - trend and titanium - doesnt have ventilated seats - other than that ticks a lot of boxes - what are your thoughts on this car?
ANy other cars that i missed out on?? WHICH ONE Would you choose and why?
hard to find coz lot of these features are not available in features list in carsales
I refuse to willingly and actively participate in financial self-sabotage.
Don't use new car purchase to stave off sadness. Believe me, DEBT doesn't make you happier.
I'd keep my current car and not go into debt for a purely elective purchase decision. I mean FFS:
You bought a 2016 Kia Cerato IN (PROFANITY) JUNE.
