Looks good, and fairly recent - earliest "review" is from June this year.

  • Go to check out, the discount didn't apply even though it shows discounted but the actual price $13.29 charged.

    • No, it worked for me just now, grab 2 .
      Thanks adr8

    • Their check out process was quite dodgy.
I clicked back and forth and finally find out how to apply the code.

  • How long does it usually take for shipping?

I got this Blitzwolf light just a few days ago. I'm quite happy with it, it's warm white which I prefer, it provides an evenly lit area, no bright spot.
The sensor (which only activates the light when dark) works really well, you would want to place it somewhere where accidental activation doesn't happen.
It would likely detect your movements if you had the light facing towards a bed, therefore you would have it going on every time you moved. It's not very bright, though bright enough to have it well placed and read a book. The timer is about 15 seconds before it turns off. It has an on/ off/ sensor mode switch. It's a bit of a hassle to mount though, no hook, or hole or magnets, just a single use sticky rear mount.

    • +1

odd. The website says it can be hooked, looks like its some sort of thin plastic film that flips out.

    • Is the sticky mount easy to remove? I've had a different light before, where the sticky mount doesn't come off and leaves a nasty residue.

    A week to 14 Days

  • The code doesnt work.
Getting the error message "Coupon can only be used 200 times"

    • +1

I'm getting the same message. NEED NEW CODE!

    • Got the same error too, code can only use 200x, need new code!!

    • +2

I have asked the rep for a new coupon, stay tuned!

  • My complaint about the Xiaomi version is that the light is quite dim and it only stays on for 20 seconds (not adjustable).
Is this unit brighter and does it have a variable "on" time?

    • Xiaomi is 7 lumens whereas this is 10 lumens

    • This bitzewolf is much brighter than xiaomi@high settings. For me, it actually too bright for using near the bed. The timer is fixed at 15 second. BTW, xiaomi has a newer version now, brighter, 20 second timer and battery last longer.

      • +3

Got a link or model number for the newer Xiaomi light?

  • +5

    Upvoted simply because it's BlitzWolf

    (everything they make is quality)

    Back in stock, same code

    • Have updated, thanks.

      • Pricing is AU$12.73 in the cart for me.

edit: my mistake, it's AUD $8.20 each.
edit 2: and a different price on the final checkout page - $9.

  • Bought 3, total $27.92 (GST 10% included)
Apply cashrewards 8% turn out to be $25.69
    AUD$8.56 each? :)

  • Can you set this to work only from 10pm to 6 am?

    • It only turns on when the ambient is dark. So it basically doesn't go off during the day.

      • You mean it doesn't turn on during the day 😋

  • Can this be connected in Google Home?

    • +1

I wouldn't bother with that last one - i threw an earlier version that i had out just a week ago as it was always useless - hard to get it to stay together & having to recharge via USB. Utter PIA. Batteries are much easier.

  • +1

Does it get annoying having to change AA/AAA batteries? I've got Eneloops, but it's a bit annoying recharging them all… Would it be easier to just plug into a powerbank or desktop charger to charge a USB-rechargable light?

    • +3

The 3 AAs on my Xiaomi one lasted years. Should be the same for this one.

    • +1

You need to toughen up bro - it's not that hard - the batteries last forever in these things.

    • +1

if you can rest the power bank on a desk or table, sure. Just make sure it's not dangling off in mid air because a power bank is heavy.

I prefer USB myself, but the truth is, any internal LiON battery is going to have a smaller charge capacity than 3 AAs. So you will be recharging more often and it will take a while.

With batteries, you instantly swap them, and then charge the old ones at your own pace. When they're charged up, store them away as spares for a future instant swap. One set of AAs should last months.

The Xiaomi Mijia version is difficult to open the battery cover unless you have stuck it to the wall, which I never do out of fear it will strip off paint when removed. From the design of this BW, it looks like an exact clone of the Mijia so you might run into the same problems.

  • I prefer rechargeables. Have Xiaomi ones and love em

  • Coupon is maxed out at 400 now

    • Furious. Said it was maxed at 200 yesterday. Was very keen to purchase a couple.

      • Same here

        • Let's write the ACCC. How do you hit up their reps? Any idea?

          • @Pootie Tang: I think @adr8 may know

          • @Pootie Tang: You can PM the rep here.

              @adr8: Thank you op!

            • @adr8: I'd love to get on it too. Good luck Gringoesai, and thanks adr8 even though I missed out on your original deal

          • @Pootie Tang:

            Let's write the ACCC.

            Are you serious???

They'll have much bigger fish to fry for much more serious infractions that this minor indiscretion…
