Does it make much snow ?

        • +2

Depends on the size of the cannon

            @rdhupar: As long as it's not deceiving…

        • +2

Yea it does, though it depends on how much solutions to put in the cannon and the air setting the cannon is on.

You can get the same quality for $25-$30 off Ali Express/Ebay.

I don't understand why these snow foam cannon things are so expensive when a pressure wash unit itself is around $100…

  • +2

I have one of these and it works well and is quite satisfying covering the car in foam. I had hoped that it would make washing the car easier but in reality all it has done is add another step to the process :/

    • +2

It's not meant to make it easier/faster, the extra step is an effort to remove more things which could scratch the car before you have to touch it.

    • -2

If your paint is prepared and protected properly you should be able to do a touchless wash

  • tbh, you don't need to spend loads of money on the cannon, any cheapish one will do within reason.
Spend your money on the soap instead.

$39.99 at my local ALDI store.

  • Seems expensive

  • I got a Gerni compatible snow cannon from Amazon a while back for $27. It does the job pretty well. Not sure if the marketing sticker is worth $40 tbh, but still a good tool to have in your arsenal.

  • These were $59.39 a couple of days ago from Supercheap.

    • On their website or eBay store?

  • Can you buy one of these which attach to a standard hose

  • Not the greatest price, can often get 30% off and occasionally more, but still a great product and good to get on discount.

I have 3 now. One for each stage of the wash.

  • Mjjc lance would be better value and most likely a better unit. They come with two sized nozzles so change to the smaller one for more foam. Also the new mjjc are plastic so I like them better. Very strong plastic btw like the pressure washer lance
