This is a good deal, thanks OP. Just want to point out that a really good burger joint called Balwyn Canteen in Melbourne is also doing the very same deal ($5 cheeseburgers). Their burgers are way nicer too, extremely well made and flavourful. If you follow any Melbourne foodie (god foodie is such a dumb name but it is what it is) on instagram you'll probably have seen some of their amazing custom burger creations and specials. Burger Project feels like a very minor step from regular fast food aka Maccas or Hungry Jacks for me most of the time. I'm expecting some other deals on cheeseburger day too along with this one i pointed out.
I agree. Burger Project seems to justify higher prices because Neil Perry might be flipping your burger.

I went there on Monday to get the BOGOF combo deal, and their beef burger was pretty terrible. The chicken burger was nice though.
There's a sign at the Broadway NSW store saying there's an hour wait …

I have to agree. What I was served up is on par with McDonalds. I feel $5 should be the normal price.
This isn't even close to a Rockpool burger that is being advertised.

got a $5 burger from bar luca, it was average tbh.
Very small but very delicious as usual. They also have happy hour from 3pm-6pm so we also ordered an American burger but it came out mini size.
