Worth ~$16 for two of them you reckon? Tempted…

      • Yes

        • Good enough for me, will make it my lunch tomorrow - thanks

Worst burgers… Honestly baffled people pay so much for a burger that's as tiny as a cheeseburger from Mcdonalds.

    • +2

Red rooster cranked the prices and massively dropped the sizes. I stopped eating there years ago as a result.

If you're going to do that you'd better be a leader (McDonald's). Red rooster stores were practically empty when all this began.. They screwed themselves over.

I wouldn't mind buying a strip sub. I quite like them. But I'd need two. So it's pointless, I just go elsewhere and get a real meal for the same price.

        Their new range is great.

    • +3

Wow, so the normal price is $12.95 for the burger?? That's absurd! Even 2 for $12.95 is a bit of a stretch

    • The bread tastes like sponge. I don't see any difference between most of the different brands though.

'voucher is unavailable'. can't remember the last time any offer worked with this crap app.

Welcome to the club. I get like 1-2 working vouchers every couple of months! It's really pathetic and it's all because of how strict DD makes their coupons.

Besides most of them being targeted the only thing that really sucks is DD not telling us the specifics on how to actually use them.

    • me 2 :(

  • Was tempted - lazy to cook dinner- but then I saw a 50% off deal for Burgers on Broadway - no idea what they are like but a $39.95 family meal deal (2 burgers, fries, drinks) worked out to be just under $23.54 delivered with dashpass as opposed to the 2 triple pickleburders (yeah it allowed me to select triples) for around $21…

Just had the burger, gave the other away.. Christ, who would pay $13.95 for one?! Incredible..

(Only upvoting for the free delivery)

Completely agree with you! Just had one too, bought the Picklebird, the worst burger I have ever had in a while…

  • -1

Wow, do people actually go to Red Rooster?

    • +1

Yep, but mainly for their fried chicken ¯_(ツ)_/¯

      • Only good when Red Rooster decides not to throw in those tiny wings with your order. They started out strong when their fried chicken first came out but after awhile they have now taken a page out of KFC's book and decided to throw in wings with their fried chicken.

The last box of fried chicken I had from them they threw in 3 wings / 1 drumstick and 1 breast and I was honestly pissed off because their fried chicken is not cheap. There should not be wings included whatsoever and if you see any of their fried chicken pictures you won't even see wings advertised.

  • If it says ends 30/3 does it end 12am on the 30th or until 11:59pm 30/3?

I remember picking these up with the markup for using food delivery services, and thinking, its barely worth the 2 for 1 price for the size it was. but I am stunned that people actually buy these at normal prices, they were small and nothing special at the standard price.

    • +1

It's worse with their fried chicken range now. They started out strong when they first launched their fried chicken range. Every piece was big. These days you're lucky to get a fried chicken the size of a breast. They throw in Wings… wings as tiny as KFC's wings. These should not even be included due to how tiny they are that it feels criminal.

i havent got their fried chicken as much of late, but i did love their fried chicken. Good quality and while pricier than kfc, it was cheaper than other fried chicken places and yet competed well against them . but i think you are right about sizes, the sizes do seem to be smaller.
