i'm very interested in these 2 games. They are both around the same price at the moment.
Astral Chain 75$ on Amazon but OOS. Local EB 80$.
Not sure why Amazon not selling DQ builder 2, cheapest third party seller are selling 84$ + delivery… Local EB selling 89…
Don't think these game will get heavily discounted in the near future.
Therefore, would like to know which game (Astral Chain/DQ builder 2) will you choose to buy if you can only own one at a time.

and yes i went to Big W, they didn't even put the price tag on the shelf. i was assuming they don't stock this game.

They are very different games. Both are very good as well. DQ builder will give you more hours of enjoyment, but I've really enjoyed what I've played of Astral Chain so far. It's a very polished game.
yes both games are good. But my pocket ain't that deep haha. Have to prepare for other big release too…
I bought DQ Builders 2, haven't tried Astral Chain though, price is really annoying though, I bought it form EB Games I think around $60 (preowend on sale but cost like way more with shipping), though I did get it in the 70s with shipping I think. Have no idea why its so pricey, but not only that, you can hardly find it as well, Switch price online was more expensive then buying it from EB Games.
Game wise I'm enjoying it, it reminds me of rune factory mixed with minecraft. I'm not a huge fan of minecraft though but I do enjoy the game. Theres a lot of fetch quest typical of Asian RPGs though if you're okay with them. Its a nice game to chill and play but theres also main quest sort of things you're meant to do, this is what keeps me going and why I enjoy it more then minecraft (I think it gives me the feeling of accomplishment).
Overall happy I bought it, and played it more then some other games I've got, but I do feel it is what it is, an RPG builder adventure game.
Pricing is really a pain in the back. But I been watching streams on YouTube, Very fun to play indeed.
Is there any form of couch co-op? My done lives Minecraft, portal knights etc and liked the first dragon quest but the lack of 2 player options sucked

Astral Chain looks a lot like Bayonetta or Sin and Punishment. Basically just lots of action with flying colours and noises, which I love!
I definitely plan on picking it up, but haven't played it yet.
Same story with DQ. Not really into RPGs or turn based combat but I might pick it up and give it a go. Its either between that or Xenoblade
Most places are OOS.
Was $69 from Amazon AU, Target & Big W but all out of stock now.
