i have noticed today when I was at big w, that this item has dropped from $96 to $84 since the toy sale at big w started 2 days ago. I got mine from Carindale.

  toys are so expensive here .the same toys are selling less than half price in US($39.20) and UK(£26.99).

    everything is expensive here not just toys. You would think with the AUD so strong everything would be around 20-30% cheaper than 2 years ago but it's all the same price.

    People have been known to neg deals for savings under $2, you may not go out and grab one, but a $12 saving is still better than full price

  Which toy on Amazon are you guys referring to?

  The closest match I can see is http://www.amazon.com/Little-People-Farm-Mega-Set/dp/B001KSP… which is $299.

  The $39.20 farm isn't the same one.

  It looks as if this super set was made just for big w. So u can't get it else where. Of course you could try and buy all separate pieces to make it up.
