Thanks for reference. And yes T5 is not as good as 860Evo or 970 Evo. To get the best speed you need to know a little about the chip of the chassis. A USB 3.1 Gen 2 Capable chassis can give you the best performance to date. I personally is using a 1TB 860 EVO drive in a enclosure with VL716 chip. It give me full speed in any circumstances. And yes the speed is better than T5.^_^
For your convenience you want to look for higher end Asmedia or Via Labs chips.
