      • Searched for the same at 12, nothing came up tho D:

    • +2

I scrolled through the comments and found people had already suggested what the direct link would be and the code. Both being correct, I managed to pick one up very quickly :) So I guess scrolling through the comments for helpful information, rather than people asking the same question that was already answered multiple times!

  • +6

Damn loaded at 1200 didn't even show code. Re loaded 3 times and only turned up at 1202 and was sold out lol. Fail

  • Phub20

Woot got the Google home hub

  • All hub gone

  • No stock google home

  • +7

LOL, wanted the google hub. Kept refreshing. suddenly it appeared, clicked on it……SOLD OUT.

What kind of BS is this

  • Question, anyone had a chance at copping anything decent from these sales?
I'm willing to bet all these are being snapped up by "Bots"…

    • +3

I got the hub and I'm not a bot

  • FK PS ST… F***ing refreshed every page, every 3 seconds.. and it still showed as sold out by the time it landed on the deals page, and i found it. FK!

  • +1

It was sold out as soon as it went up. Was constantly refreshing and the moment it popped up I clicked on it and it was already sold out. Bit dodgy.

  • didnt get it, the page was 2 mins late and then all sold out ?

  • +2

F5ing like mad. As soon as it showed up I went to the auction…Sold Out.

Never even stood a chance. Congrats to all that scored one.

  • +4

Not sure a @%#!^ing heart attack is worth getting one of these deals…

    • +1

It's just an insignificant item, relax.

  • +5

was refreshing /deals page, but no sh*t came up.

  • Wow, looks like Google Home sold in less than a minute!

  • So so disappointed. Refreshing like crazy on the charcoal colour. Never became available. Didn't even think of white.

  • wtf didnt see it at all and by the time it showed … its gone

  • +3

    Another total waste of time.

  • How did you get the code? Didn't show for me till after sold out.

  • +15

i refeshed for 2 mins, nothing showed up till 12:02, then all were gone. I have internet that is 1Gbps

    • +5

same here, negged this for being BS

    • +1

      same

    • Same for me as well ..

    • +2

your internet speed has nothing to do with page loading times, if it cant serve the request your pipe matters none

      • so what are people doing that are getting it faster than i am? im using chrome.

    • Only people with 1.00001Gbps or above got one

  • Couldn't get one :(

  • +2

Where are you finding the link once its live?
It wouldn't let me apply the code to the one I had in my cart from a few hours ago.

  • Google hub sold out in a minute wow

    • I don't understand.

It's $184 on the eBay page. The coupon took $20 off to make it $164?

But it's currently $139 at JB Hifi.

      • No it took 164 off to make it $20

        • Ohh, haha. Wow!
          Fair enough

  • +1

damn. how did you get it? it always showed me out of stock.

    • +1

Same here I checked the Allphones listing 30 mins before it went live and it said "out of stock" till 12pm.

  • +1

Was anybody getting 'check account status' errors once it was in their cart and they clicked 'Go to Checkout'?

  • Finally got one!!

  • Nothing appeared on deal page, website freeze and then all gone

  • refreshed but out of stock!!! errr

  • Total fail for me. Repeated search on eBay plus deals. Nothing popped until 12:02, then shows all sold. Thanks eBay for another healthy serving of disappointment.

  • +2

Google home gone! Deal appeared on Deals page 2 minutes later. I clicked on it and found 424 units already sold? and items status is out of stock!

  • +2

sold out in 2 minutes.. refreshing for 2 minutes but it wasn't there until it was already gone at 12:02… damn

    • +1

Sold out in under that, just took that long for the site to show anything.

  • +1

I was on the Allphones Google Hub page prior to the sale, It was already sold out…

    • I think they removed stock leading up to the sale, then added 400 at 12pm.

    • +1

How did you even know that was going to be the seller for the deal?

  • Thanks, OP! Scored a Google home hub!

  • wonder how many bots beat me to it?

    • -2

Not really. I am overseas, tethering though another phone, and kept refreshing the featured deals page continuously and was able to buy it!!

  • Prediction: google is making so many of these they will eventually throw them after people like they do with the mini.

  • +1

Lol shitty Oz bargain servers, takes 2 mins to refresh the page. Then sold out before I can even see the listing lmfao…oh.well you snooze u lose!

  • +5

Spammed refresh on the deals page at 12:00PM on the dot, it didn't appear until roughly 12:03PM, by then it was sold out. It appears this is more a game of who can find the product before the 'deal' goes live.

  • For the Google Home Hub, I checked Allphones listing 30 mins before the sale and it was saying "Item out of stock" till now.

  • Home Hub sold out in two minutes, it took 2 minutes to appear on the deals page - by the time it appeared it was sold out - how did people find the link before it appeared on the page, using a different search term I suspect.

  • +3

Not so much a deal as a competetion lol.

Well def cancelling eBay plus so least something good has come from it.

Deals too few and far between that aren't that much better than the usual deals and then bs promos like this

  • OzBargain servers right now

  • I don’t know how I managed that but I got one !! Even with my first transaction not going through because it defaulted to the wrong card.

  • +1

i refeshed for 2 mins, nothing showed up till 12:02, then all were gone. I have internet that is 1Gbps

  • (profanity) me ebay are the worst. I had that in my cart from Allphones and tried the code multiple times as soon as 12pm hit, and it did not work. So deleted from cart because thought it might be a different seller. Searched it, found it, Noticed 323 sold, clicked buy now.. pasted code, pay.. sold out. F U EBAY.

  • Thanks OP, bought one.

  • +1

What a waste of time. F this S

  • +6

Yeah screw this. Garbage promotion. I already had eBay Plus and this has left such a sour taste that I will probably unsubscribe.

They've presumably has thousands of people sign up for a trial account just for this, and it's basically a lottery.

  • +3

You gotta use the app. I wasn't even that fast and I got one

    • +1

Did you add it to cart once it appeared on the deals page? Or did you already know it was the Home Hubs from Allphones

  • Lucky enough to guess the Code and got a Home Hub!

  • a waste of time….

  • Managed to get one. But it said there was an error with the listing. I refreshed.. and tried again and it said Seller changed listing. Then I just tried again and it went through. Stressful but I actually got one!!!

  • Got one as well! Phew.

Thank you to the person on Pge 6 for your item link. I was refreshing like mad after signing in and adding a (guessed) promo code. But mad you had to be fast!

  • I was looking forward to google listening to all my conversations

  • +1

Never even saw the updated banner… it came and webnt a bt. Cleared cache used a diff browser.. just din't get the link… disappointed.

  • dumb…. like heaps of others… i sat there refreshing constantly and then it finally shows up but already out of stock…

  • Got one too… Now waiting for the headphones. Still shaking though. Can't believe I got it. Thanks OZB

    • how did you know that it was the item that was in Allphones store that was going to eb discounted? Im sure you dont want to share the secret hehe

      • I didn't. Someone in the previous comment suggested it might be the one.

  • OMG… I managed to nab one. I feel like I've won the lottery! I'd already guessed the code which saved me precious copy and paste time.

  • Did anyone get it from the deal on the home page? By the time it loaded it was out of stock. Waste of time

  • Did not manage to get one. All sold out in 2 mins :( any tips on how to get headphones? Need 1 for younger bro

  • F-ME had it in my cart code was in and then SOLD OUT… also did not show till after about 300 had sold

  • You know what stuff you eBay and your stupid lottery system you got going on.
And yeah, No 20th B'day to you lol

  • This is ridiculous! 12pm Google Home on Sale, 12.01 all 426 sold, lol

  • Missed out too.

I suggest dont wait for code here. Go straight to ebay homepage and refresh there.

    • Yeah, I refreshed but saw the offer after 2mins!

  • Deal showed up on ebay, and its all gone!

  • Got one..thanks OP. cheers.. it seemed like cops were chasing me 😜

  • yay love how i had the right page and it was saying out of stock, then refresh it a second later and the sold jumps up 400….. thanks…..

  • I kept clicking from 12 and when I saw the code, it was sold out. What a waste of time.

  • +5

Sold out before it even appeared. Negged

  • I couldn't find the Google hub for a good minture, wasn't up on the deals page. how are people finding it?

    • +1

I went into the electronics tab and it was the first one.

  • missed out on confirm payment page, oh well. $20 richer now

  • after trying for the airpods and failing (both gens), finally scored the hub! 3rd time lucky i guess! (or 234234234 times lucky considering i tried every hour for the airpods hahaha)

thanks op - guess it finally paid off

  • How can Google Home Hub be sold out in less than a minute (As soon as the deal appeared)? I am kinda clueless. Any Ideas?

    • eBay has over 8 million users in Australia. There might have been 100,000 users wanting to buy those 400 home hubs. It's easy to see how lots of people will miss out.

  • +2

time waste, showed up on deals page as sold out.

  • Whoever put PHUB20 is a hero… I literally just copy and pasted lol.

  • How people get the link before the deal starts? The link shows at 12:03 for me and its all gone by then…

    • They use existing sellers, so it's a matter of finding the right one and F5ing their page before the code goes live.

Someone posted earlier about allphones suddenly removing all Google Home Hub stock at around 11:30, so that was a good clue that it'd be them.

  • Bahahaha listing eventually showed up at 12.02pm by which point they were all sold out of the Google Home Hub
