Here's a tip for people trying to find the link to the item page.

I suspect many of you already know how to do this so let's make the odds even for everyone.

    1. Go to the eBay deals page here
    2. In the search bar at the top, type in the name of the item (exactly the way it is spelt in the T&Cs here)
    3. If the item shows up in the search results, then it is part of this sale. If there are no results, it is either not listed yet (or sold out).

    Good luck everyone.

Not showing the Google home hub for me

    • -1

two minutes left and harry potter didnt show up.

    • Hm what link might the Bose Soundsport be then?

    • -1

doesnt work for google hub or bose

      • Please refer to point 3 above.

The items get posted closer to XX:58 or XX:59 (or even at XX:00) so you're likely not going to find anything beforehand.

  • Can anyone please confirm if they have been successful in buying 2 X $20 deals and its definitely 1 transaction per code ?

    • People already have above. And the terms state it

      • -1

Thanks ..but too many comments to scroll by :P

    • +1

Can confirm. 2 for 2 so far ;)

    • -5

Confirmed. I just did this with the Sodastream & Anti-Aging & I dont need either.

      • +1

        Many more to come ..:)

      • You guys downvoting me because you missed out? They make pretty decent gifts & love a good skin care product!

  • Gonna guess the next code to be PLEGO20

  • +4

Shessh feels like I am rookie competing in Olympics.

Remember the days where we used to just clip out coupons from a newspaper? how I miss those…

Thanks for the post - think everyone is aiming for the heavy tech.

    • Newspaper? What's that.

      • It's a thing my grandparents used to talk about during the war.

        • whats a battle?

  • Towels PTOWEL20

    • not ready yet.

    • how do you find the link?

  • When Deal is on, where does the link appear, under "SPOTLIGHT DEAL"? and where does the code appears?
Will try my luck to snatch something, but hope is pretty low as I am neven been lucky!

  • +2

    Wonder if it'll be PHUB20?

    • PLUCK20 :p

    • PHUB20
      PGHUB20
      PGOOGLE20
      PHOME20

The first three don't exist, the last is 'expired'.

As opposed to PTOWEL20 which says it's not ready to be used yet.

  • +4

any good deals on a replacement F5 button?

  • After reading the comments, I think it's worth reminding everyone: you're saving money ONLY if buy something you need at a lower price than regular.

If you're buying stuff you don't need or you never thought before of buying before, let me break it to you that you came here to waste your money. And if that's the case, not sure why you are in a deals webpage to start with - you might as well go to the shopping centre and splurge.

    Thanks

You'll come to find we don't buy things we need on here soon enough. :P

  • +1

    My educated guesses.

    1pm - PTOWEL20
    2pm - PSOUND20
    3pm - PCHEF20
    4pm - PMEGA20
    5pm - ?
    6pm - PTOOTH20

  • Will it be the chalk or the charcoal Google Hub? Or a split?

  • My eBay plus subscription expired, and I can't be bothered creating a new account to get a trial just for this. So I have no chance of getting any of the deals, but for some reason I can't drag myself away from this whole thread.

How did you find it? Didn't even show up on deals page for me

      • Yea I don't get how this is working, I went to the home page, saw the link in the banner to the lego, clicked it and it took me to the deals page.

      • Go on https://www.ebay.com.au/deals, search for the item (in this case Lego), and keep refreshing from xx:59.50 until it pops. Don't wait for it to show up on the main deals page, it may be too late by then.

        • Do we have to copy and paste the code? Or will appear on checkout page as an option to tick?

    • That didn't last long

    • sold out in what 1 second…

      • Said there were 20 units, not 200?

    • how did you get the link and code before it was featured as a spotlight deal?

  • +5

Lol instead of 200, they put 20 in stock which are all gone

  • Sold out in like 30 seconds? :(

  • they fkd up

  • LEGO GONE in seconds!!!

    • The quantity you have entered is not available. Please enter a lower number.

      • only 20 sold! where are the rest ?

  • +1

WTF pbrick20 SOLD OUT IN 15 SECS WTF

    • +1

So 12pm homehub .000001%chance of buying it

    • +3

Hub and Bose not looking good.

    • That was actually f***** insane!

  • +4

The lego only had 10 in stock not 200 lol

    • Yeah, only 20 in stock but 200 advertised lol

      • +1

10 were already sold at 10:55am so they actually only had 10.

        Check the sale history :(

      • ACCC, where are you? lol

    • Probably only 4 GHH will be available then.

  • +1

    Bots?

  • how can you know on time the link and the code?

  • Lego 75956 Harry Potter Quidditch Match already showing out of stock.. before 11:00 AM

  • +1

    PBRICK20

  • +1

why did the spotlight deal not changed from the Doona

    • Only showed up for me after it was sold out. Pointless, other than to add salt to the wound!

      • this is gonna be a shit waste of time

  • +4

    20 in stock not 200 - wow!

    • That's a joke.

    • I think it's a typo, they will probably fix it so keep checking if you want one

    • +1

10 only …. if you check the sold history

      • +1

        Yeah true - 10 sold before 11am

    • Yeah only lists 20 sold as well. can't wait for the 10 Google Home Hub's.

  • Only 10 sold - had it! Paypal required a security check…

  • +8

The code should be PBRICK20 without the B

  • BOOOOOOO!!!

  • +2

dodgy as hell? Refreshed constantly at 11am, 2 minutes passed before it shows under spotlight and it's sold out? This just seems like a typical ebay scam. No wonder everyone hates them.

    • You’re lucky…didn’t even show in the banner for me.

  • Only 12 of the Harry Potter lego sold and it was sold out. Wasnt it meant to be 200?

    • And two of those sold today say before 11am :P

  • +1

lol. Before listing up, already sold out

  • +1

Kept refreshing the deals page. By the time it popped up, the Lego was already sold out

  • +10

Don't worry guise, I'm typing up my letter to the ombudsman now

  • +1

Sold out in literally 5 seconds…yeah not gonna bother with any more lol

  • where can you find the code?? i was on that item page but saw no code!

  • +2

So now, my leftover hope of Google Home is gone because there can only be 40 in stock. Maybe 4

  • +1

    Only 20 WTF

  • i will have a rest and see you guys at 12

  • i think there is an issue with this lego deal.. only 20 sold but supposedly should be 200

  • +3

    WTF? Lego all gone already?

    The code should be BPRICK20

  • +3

So the stock quantities are also a lucky dip? Only 10 sold after 11am.

    • +1

      yeah, what a joke
