It's been two years and they've only had the Music update 12 months ago. They'd be pretty close to an announcement which would include the new O2 sensor on the wrist HR monitor.

Hey people's I am looking a watch need heart rate and pedometer but I don't want to have to use it with my phone or sync it in any way with the pc to avoid giving my health data /GPS tracking away
Do you know if you can you use these without a PC or a phone and they will just overwrite the data in their memory? Or is this just a pipe dream?
I'm not all that worried about yesterday just today's step count and current heart rate.
