Bowden's Own Nanolicious Wash Pack $49 (was $79) @ Repco

530

Hi,

Pretty good price for the Australian made & owned Bowden's Wash/Shag pack. Make some great automotive detailing products. I personally use quite a few.

Comes with: Nanolicious Car Wash 500ml, Boss Gloss Quick Detailer 125ml, Shagtastic Wash Pad and Big Green Sucker Drying Towel - plus a bag of racing car lollies and a sticker.

You already saved some money buying this all in a pack, but now it's on sale. The Drying Towel itself is normally $40. All up separately these come to $89.96.

Here's some reviews on the products:

Nanolicious Wash
Green Sucker
Shagtastic Wash Pad
Boss Gloss

Here's a video review of some of the Bowden's line-up:

Some other Bowden's Own products are also on sale, but I think this is the best considering price to performance ratio:

Enjoy!

This is part of Father's Day deals for 2019.

Great products and good price. I have the big green sucker and shagtastic already, but was wanting a 2nd big green sucker so probably get this

    • Yeah, the Green Sucker is what I got it for primarily. Was pretty surprised how well it did. Managed to do a whole Grand Vitara without needing another towel.

Couldn't recommend the big green sucker enough.
After a wash and rinse a 5 minute blowover with cordless leaf blower and 5 minutes with the towel. Dry car no streaks.
    Seriously good product.

    • I seem to be the only person who gets dirt and other grime spraying out of crevices when using a leaf blower on a car. I then have to rinse the car again to ensure I don't push that dirt and grime into the paint with the towel.

      • Why don't you use it BEFORE you wash the car? Then wash, then re-blow, then towel dry.

        • A neg for what? Dust scratching the paint?

  • The first two times I used the big green sucker it left a few annoying fibres behind on the car. Since then it's been great though. Must have just needed to shed a little fur at the beginning.

I think I paid over $20 just for the green sucker. This is a good deal

    • Did you wash it first?

This is also a good deal for the seal and shine

Wow, that is a great price.

That stuff is seriously great. Don't let the Turtle Wax name fool you - they've got something special with that stuff. Saw some comparisons with ceramic sealant at 3x-4x the cost, and it done admirably.

      • Inmpressive. Same product? Is ICE the US version?

        • +1

Yeah. Ice is the US/Canadian brand line. Same product.

          • @Captain Howdy: Any idea how many car applications could I get out of one bottle? Say a medium sized car?

            • @bluedez_man: Not sure mate. You use it sparingly though. I just done my Suzuki Grand Vitara the other day with the stuff. It’s a SUV. I’ve still got a tonne of the bottle left, so I’d say 5+ applications at least. And the fact it last 3 months or more means the bottle will last a while.

              Sheets and beads water great.

              • @Captain Howdy: Awesome….thanks for that!

                • @bluedez_man: No problem.

Forgot to mention this stuff can also be used on glass, chrome, alloy and trim. You’ll get a similar water sheeting effect. Great coming from a more wax orientated detail, because with that type of product it’ll stain black trim with the smallest of accidental smears.

                  • @Captain Howdy: Ah yes…do you think it would it be worth applying this over wax (noting that this lasts longer than wax)?

                    • @bluedez_man: Again, not sure. Never done it myself. You could give the car a clean with dishsoap and maybe claybar it to remove the current wax, and they go through your proper wash/detail and apply it last. Or wait until the wax is gone. Or maybe just apply on top.

Might want to read into it though mate. Don’t have any experience there, sorry.

    • Paid $15.59 at SCA when they had the 40% off sale.

  • How do I redeem the shag?

  • +1

I'm here for the racing car lollies.

  • This is probably best product out there, great value and works really work. Problem is, what do I do with my other stuff.
