I had a similar umbrella from Amazon, the Repel, with a similar design. However, some of the metal joints started to rust, which seems to also be a issue with this umbrella.
I wouldn't be worried about that. I got a premium Montblanc auto umbrella. After 1 year of use, some metal parts started to rust too. I think the key point is to keep it dry after use

No worries. Shame it only lets you buy one but there is another deal in the upcoming lightning sale list (which lets you add it to watch list) with the same umbrella but in Wine colour if anyone is interested or misses this deal.

This one would seem better value for money (if you can get it for sale…i paid 15.95 on prime days sales)
noting most of the listings these days for the xiaomi is about 20-23 AUD these days
i prefer the xiaomi as it has a slimmer profile and generally just feels better in the hand
newdora case is nice touch but it does make it feel bulkier
have yet to truly test out both in heavy rain and high wind conditions though
I like the look of the canopy one with a wooden handle - but no special.
The case on this is great - has microfibre "fingers" that soak up any wetness from the umbrella - only downside is that it makes the thing quite a bit larger than one with a normal cover.
I have one of these. Good umbrellas but it's a bit small.
Great umbrella. I paid full price for mine and felt I got my money's worth.
