    Not much of a discount.
    For example Hoyts Eastland is $1.50 off with this compared to Optus Perks.
    Save more money by choosing to dine elsewhere.

      The one thing I'll say about Optus Perks though is that if you don't book early, the allocation is often gone.

    last time this was on it was $10 for movie ticket per burger purchase at my local grilld.
    melb central always has a burger beer bundle deal, so it’s a better deal from that store if extracting max value.

    The cinemas have become damn expensive… consumers are now slugged with an "online booking fee", even when buying through Optus/Telstra perks!

      Got mine already for $8.90. Says expiry July 31st 2020 which is pretty good. Not sure if it'll be the same everywhere as the date has been stamped on. Worth asking before you buy the burgers.

        For anyone conducting Mystery shopping, they only target 25-45, as shoppers they will accept. When I enquired with the company, they said that that was their target age group, as that is the trendy people with money.

          Compared to Hereditary which I only saw yesterday, it’s so much better.

          It’s a real gasp in the cinema kinda movie. I loved the ending.

            I'll wait till it's out on DVD if I watch. Might be that it's just not my kind of film. Might be that i've seen too many horror films in my middle age grumpy life ;-) I'd be more interested in a documentary on real cult stupidity, but that's just me.

              @syousef: More psychological thriller than horror. No reliance on jump scares, very little gore, not really a scary atmosphere. Still very adult in content and visuals, but not what I would call a traditional scary movie.

                  @RetroMetro: My friend was explaining to me that's it's a commentary on the nature of trauma and pathways to healing. Apparently there's lots of symbolism, particularly the use of colour and certain shapes (yellow, pyramids). I didn't really get all that, I watch movies like a simpleton, I don't really read into things or look for cultural or historical allusions.

                  Most of the film I was just thinking how trippy it would be to eat mushies somewhere the sun never sets.
