And yet, I would. And have done so.
Why not consult with your pharmacist? Its not like its something super specific… not that a GP is much more help anyways.
LOL agree with you.
"I cannot determine if it's viral or bacterial.
If it's viral, there's nothing we can do.
If it's bacterial, here some broad, general Antibiotics."
And they wonder why those bugs are getting resistent to medicine.
It's Antibiotics, not lollies.
In this case it's just pain killer. It's ok to fill up your 4 month old baby with it, so it stops crying.
That's why you buy it in BULK !!
Creating addicts from early on !
Going to see a doctor unnecessarily is just wasting tax payers' money as well as making it annoying and impossible for people who actually NEED to see a doctor to go, since its so hard to get an appointment with one. Just ask your pharmacist, they are more than qualified to give you advice on something so trivial. And if they are unsure of whether its safe, they will then refer.
Thank you Captain Obvious
fair deal on Nurofen brand, but Dimetapp Pain & Fever Infant Drops 40mL is same stuff cheaper. ($5.39/40ml equiv 50ml is $6.74)
No way i'd give this sort of stuff to a child before consulting a doctor first.
