I thought people had learned never to pre-order EA games?

The fortnight people are over there

        What?

        • Some people just love to hate

          • @[Deactivated]: I don't love to hate. It's your money. You're absolutely welcome to spend it how you want.
I just think that, based on past experience with EA releases (microtransactions, day 0 quality problems etc) the wiser move would be to wait for reviews rather than trusting that "this time will be different".

Also, I've never played a single frame of Fortnight.

  • pricematch at ebgames for that free steelbook

This is exactly why EB won’t price match - they’re “different” versions.

    • Except they do, and you get all the bonuses too. I do it all the time.

      • +4

        We’ve had very different experiences.

yea, I tried to do it for project cars 2 ages ago and the b**** said 'not the same edition'.

  • would be nice if they got the cockpit view.

I really like driving with the cockpit view, but NFS don't do cockpit view ever.

    • +3

I'll give you a cockpit view.

      • masculine toxicity running my wholesome society smh

Just had a look on YouTube. A bit of pro street, shift and underground? I'll buy it when it hits the bargain bin like the rest of them

    • Same, as much as I love racing games, this can wait given the track record of EA game prices of late.
