My little brother loved this game and I think the story is awesome. Would highly recommend this game.
This may or may not be relevant to you, but he has put ~60 hours into HZD, but ~120 hours into Assassin's Creed Odyssey and likes it better. I'm keen to get my hands on God of War when I see it for sale.
God of War is amazing. It's easily my favourite PS4 game. Horizon Dawn is in my top 5.
As for Assassin's creed… I could never get into any of them.Thanks for the input! What are your top 5? I don't play too often, but my little brother is always on haha
God of War looks awesome, but I've been trying to avoid more temptation since I got hooked on Overwatch on PC a couple of years ago -_- Waiting for a good enough deal I can use as an excuse to get it haha

Fantastic game. Got Platinum and did 100% game completion. Yet to start Frozen wild Expansion.
Just finished the original complete release package (not the hits version), racking in 58 hours and still not complete the full side quest and explored all the areas.
It certainly is one of the best game of this generation, makes you wish Mess effect andromeda be half as good, and shockingly there are some plot elements in Horizon shared with ME:A and yet Horizon did it way better …
The story conversation choice is a little weak but IT serve some purpose down the track but not plot altering. Hopefully the sequel would have branching multiple endings.
The voice acting is excellent and game play element continue to keep things fresh all the way til the end.
Easily the best action rpg available of our time.
Can't wait for number 2 to be released on the ps5.
If I already have the base game, can I buy this and use the expansion on this with my original save file? Or am I better off just getting the expansion on its own?
Yeah it’ll work provided both versions are from the same region - i.e no overseas copy
Played the base game at launch, liked it but soon joined the backlog and offloaded it.
Is the Frozen wilds worth hopping back into?
General consensus is that the Frozen Wilds DLC is arguably better than the base game in terms of actual gameplay. Definitely worth trying it out IMO.
