[Switch] Crayola Scoot - $4.50 (Was $45.00, 90% off) @ Nintendo eShop

400

Considering we never got the physical release here is Australia (afaik), this is a pretty decent deal on this game that, for all intents and purposes, is a decent kid friendly version of Tony Hawk Pro Skater mixed with a little bit of Splatoon.

Also comes in at under a GB for those concerned with storage space.

Might be good for those who are looking for something kid-friendly on their family/kid's consoles.

I've bought JSR on at least 3 platforms.

But switch would be "the right home" for it.

I'd go bananas for JSR and JSF on switch. Here's hoping.

    • Oh hell yeah, JSR was the bomb!
      I loved it!

Wow it's actually crazy to see the Switch price is basically the same as PC and other consoles for once!

      • Actually cheaper than Xbox and PS4. woah

    • Thanks got on PC :D

  • Is this a Splatoon clone?

No it’s a scooter trick game like skate 3. It was free on Xbox Live earlier in the year. Good for younger kids, teens might find it too easy, but its way better than the last Tony Hawk game.

(profanity) me, I think I paid like 20 bucks for this.

I've been playing a lot of Tetris and my fingers hurt, so I'll keep it unusually brief

Game is what you get if Tony Hawk had a baby with a scooter, and Jet Set Radio had a baby with Splatoon, and then, by some miracle those babies got together and (profanity), that's what this game is.

Controls are kind of wonky and I wish I could change them, but otherwise, it's so fun. Hardcore Tony Hawk fan here, and honestly, I was finding myself trying to press the old THPS buttons this game captured the feel so well. Very fun for the price.

    • It's the product of baby fricking

  • Bought for my 3yo, she likes it thanks
