Get yourself a cricket ball for the princely sum of $1 at Kmart. They were clearing out 2 piece leather balls and also plastic balls.

Good deal for those of us who don't have any balls…
I'll be getting the leathery ones as spares
well, bowl me over!
This deal has got me stumped. Do I choose leather or plastic.
The bat would crack in half if u hit the leather ball on the sweet spot of the bat
O RLY?
These are more than likely the bat breaker balls as mentioned above..steer clear
Can someone lend me a dollar?
is all this discussion of leather and plastic a silly point? :D
They either stop talking about it and go buy them or they'll end up with no ball.
howzat?
I'm letting this deal go through to the keeper
these leather balls are the cheap indian ones(the reason they are so hard is coz its a different cork and the leather is shizen and there is a tonne of lacquer), they wont break ur bat(if ur bat breaks with any cricket ball, return the bat), but they certainly will hurt.
so…useful for throwing at Jehovah's Witnesses eh?
If your a good aim you might get a leg break. Then duck for cover so you don't get caught out. Unless you want those swingers to give you a full toss.
are you bowled enough to do that. I'd just run for cover
Why are people negging? I should throw the plastic ones at them instead?
i also noticed a nice cricket set for 3 dollars at kmart. bat, stumps, bails, and ball. picked up one of them. its only cheap crap but great for a day at the beach when it gets warmer.
Delicious puns all round everyone
Just a lot of typical ozbargain spin. At this price this deal will soon be over.
6 balls to go! and then its all over
Have they … run out?
I think this deal needs to go to the third umpire.
it seams to me that you guys won't stop with the puns
well, with such a good price Kmart don't need a pitch to sell them.
As previously mentioned, these balls are cheap concrete balls which can damage cricket bats. They only real purpose they could serve is for field practice drills.
I doubt many people here would know who chappeli, lillie, tangles, and thommo where!
The training balls we have look like they've been through an indonesian abbatoir. I'll definitely go see if I can grab a few!
Just a warning; a lot of cheap cricket balls (concrete core or similar) will damage a bat (I haven't had experience with these specific balls).
