Weren’t they $99 last time. For an extra $40’may as well get them when they’re that price at different sellers.
From the link it seems like this deal may be for the wireless charging model (rather than the non-wireless last time), hence the higher price.
It's $70 more for the wireless charging case model. Not really worth it imo.
technically, 60$ more, as last deal included 10$ shipping.
Most of 'em got it for $99 or for $109 with shipping (less $10 refund credit from eBay)
No, the shipping fee was included in first few hours and then intermittently added/removed. ebay gave refunds on it if you asked.

Literally saw this post at 9:57, went to ebay and refreshed a bit around 9:59… clicked "Add to Cart"… clicked "View Cart"… clicked "checkout"… wondered why my cart was still $310… went back to OzB to get the discount code… put in the code… took my time to click "purchase"…. AND STILL GOT IT!
They must have improved the process to reserve the item for you if you get it in your cart or checkout or whatever because I took ages just to checkout.

I clicked Buy it Now when there was still plenty in stock. Didn't work, said not enough in stock. Reverted back to product page, still 6 showing available. Tried adding to cart, too late. All within 30 seconds max. Friggin annoying.

60 secs is much slower than last time.
Last time it was more like 6 secs max and you needed to do it in at least two steps an hour apart.

So was this time (@10am anyway) despite people claiming it to be "too easy".

I missed last time even though I had one in the 4pm slot (tried to checkout at 5pm but did not work) and got this time.
Last time around also most got onto the 10am slot - it's the next slots that got crazy as news spread so let's see how the day pans out.
Yeah, I'm wondering that too. The wireless charging case alone is $129, and comparing both models that include the actual airpods themselves, its $249 for standard case and $319 for the wireless case which is a $70 difference so you're still saving some amount for the charging case.
EDIT: The previous airpods was a 60% off on the RRP and these ones are a 47% off. Still not helping my decision though… I don't know whether to get the new Sony's or this.

Nope, absolutely not worth but you are comparing it to the $99 deal which is incorrect comparison. If you need one, this is a brilliant price for an AirPod
