    Friend, no. Wont play on a ps4 either. Only xboxone can (in addition to normal 4k players).

      Yes you can play the Bluray disc through the PS3.
      The 4k disc you'll have to use a 4k player or an Xbox One S/X

        Buy the 4K/blu ray combo for the extra $3. You can play the standard blu-ray in your PS3 and then have the 4K for when you upgrade someday. Don’t get the DVD, the quality will be horrendous in comparison.

          @Ulysses31: The PS3 only has a bluray drive, it won't play 4Ks. This is also true for the PS4.

            I responded to 'THREE', saying it's IS a bluray player. So it WILL play the combo disc mentioned in the deal. I saw no mention in the original post.

            It really doesn't warrant all this muddy water.

  For what it's worth the movie is by the numbers and the themes SO obvious it's actually a little excruciating to watch. Doesn't have the magic of the first movie whatsoever

  This is slightly cheaper than its worth.
