    Doing a lookup on StaticIce for the WD2500BEVS drive on the specs page from Mwave comes up with this:

    The drive is 5400rpm, which is normal for a 2.5", and has 8mb buffer.
    MSY have it for $97.

    Only problem for me is that my only shipping method is Toll Ipec. Would rather AUS Post coz I can pick up at a Post Office if I'm not home- or Postie is nice and leaves packages on doorstep.

    Got few more questions before my plastic card get some more exercise:

    • How long is the warranty?

    • What is the process of warranty return? (ie, back to store or contact WD directly?)

      The Case is 1 Year Warranty.
      Hard drive inside is 2 Years Warranty.
      If the Hard drive is faulty you can return it to us and we will repair/replace the unit for you.
      You can contact WD directly but they will tell you to return the product to us.

      as long as the HD is SATA, you can change the drive in the case you self.
