Not a bad price for these. Bunnings have them for $27 currently, but they price beat DJs to $15.30.

I tried click and collect for DJs on Melbourne city store but they said they couldn’t fulfil - potentially incorrect inventory numbers, but I was using the free 2 x $10 free gift cards from their loyalty program.

    Also DJs @$97 and includes two of the globes, but go to Bunnings and get them to price beat. You can get it for $87.30 when other retailers have it for $130-150. It basically means you get the hub and the normal retail price and get two of the globes for free (saving about $60-80).

    Yes. It works of most major home automation platforms. Note you need a hub for your home to control all the accessories.

      Thanks. Amazon says that their Echo Plus has an integrated hub. I have one Echo Plus at home. Is that sufficient? Or do I need to have something else m

    Definitely not the ambience model. Cannot change color temp. The warm white is too yellow for most new houses.

  What is the advantage of these over the Xiaomi bulbs? Why do these need a bridge anyway, Xiaomi ones don't need any extras and globes are cheap but good quality.

    This uses Zigbee, wifi bulbs are good because no bridge required but once you start filling your house with more bulbs, zigbee will be the better option so you don’t slow down your wifi network.

      I already have Xiaomi bulbs, but bought this because had the $10 DJ credit. Not sure I will find a use for it, seems very expensive to go with Philips throughout the house. Have not found any slow down on the wifi with the Xiaomi's.
