Bring Me Home is a food saving app that allows participating cafes, restaurants and kitchens to list food for 40-70% off - food that otherwise would be thrown out - for you to buy cheap!
You pay by via the app and pick up the food at the restaurant. They also encourage you to bring your own tupperware. I’ve been using it for a bit and had a great run with places in the city (melb). Enjoy!

It just looks like late in the day offerings from fast food/cafes. Nothing jumps out as bargain. There was one for taco bill where you’d get two tacos for $5. If you eat as a normal patron, I wonder if you gets sides/accompaniments that you don’t get with the deal.
A lot of these places let their employees eat or take home unused food. I wonder if the employees get less and are resentful as a result.

I've used the app in Sydney last week. I think they just expanded and doing testing. Very good experience for rice paper rolls
There's another app called 'y waste' same idea, not a great design, but they have some nice spots on there. For melb cbd if you're around at the end of the day.
Decent selection of restaurants in Melbourne. Have been getting cheap Vietnamese and cafe sandwiches when the afternoons munchies kick in.
Just wanna say thank you for posting this deal OP, i wouldn't have found this app otherwise. I have gotten so much use out of it already lol. I've been going for the 4 sushi handrolls in Melbourne CBD for $5.50 (!). Usually 4 sushi handrolls come out for like… $12 or so. The app is so good.

Good idea but only one place within about an hours drive from me, wish it were more commonly utilized by businesses!
