  • What happened to your last VPN? I checked a few months ago and it was down.

    • +1

Ohh? Please PM. I deleted the old listing and put this new one in its place that enables for subscribing. Pm if there's issues actually connecting please

  • Are you required to retain metadata if your VPN business is registered in Australia?

    • +1

      Registered In HK so no.

So go for the Singapore one for more anonimity

How's it go on Netflix considering it's static?

    • +2

I also want to know this.

Is the IP blocked by Netflix?

Is there a better (and cheap) way around US Netflix geo-blocking?

      • I haven't checked. I'll try to remember to check soon

        • +3

California IP, in case that wasn't obvious. ;)

        • So, any news?

It would literally take five seconds to check.

        • Hi Phillip.

Could I have a trial account to report back findings to this post? A few days would be fine.
I'd like to test Netflix via OpenVPN on my router.
Alternatively if you can set up yourself and test via a Smart TV app (US region selected in TV setup may be needed) -
Push the info button on remote to display the stream speed.

Also speedtest against Netflix at Fast.com

Testing in a browser/iphone isn't always accurate as Netflix is less restricted with browsers.

          • @kusama: No trial accounts.
I'll check for a free subscription now that I'm back at work. I was traveling and was under the weather last week.

    • Works on Netflix confirmed

Wow can't help but notice this store's abysmal performance:

    • 33 negs in the last 3 posts alone
    • 75 negs in 13 total posts

The phone complaints hardly matter when it comes to reselling a vpn service.

And phillipdi's posts seem to attract some particularly pedantic and combative OzBargain'ers for no immediately obvious reasons.

      • -2

There's ALLOT of small phone sellers who like to trash their competition. Such is life. VPNs are easier

Friend, I disagree. Some of your deals werent even deals and what proof do you have of your claim?

      • +1

Of course it's relevant - it goes to reputation.

I wouldn't touch anything from this guy - read his actual replies within those prior posts and you'll get the idea…

    • -2

You mean 28 positives vs 21 mega in my last 3 posts not including this one?

  • Phillip who?

  • Is it possible to use it on NAS devices as well or only through PC/Mac dedicated clients?

    • Good question. If it supports OpenVPN then absolutely yes

It also works on android and iphone

Doesn't having a static IP defeat the purpose of IP privacy from a VPN?

    • +1

If your purpose for using a VPN is privacy then yeah, probably. If this allows me to access Netflix from the US I'll probably pick it up.

      • +1

Depends, if it means the exit gateway only has a single static IP address then that means that all through VPN traffic is going to show as coming from a single IP, ie. your traffic gets mixed in with everyone elses.

With no logs to indicate times connected, destination IPs, etc, it becomes a little difficult to pin down a request to a specific originating IP.

His previous VPN deal had a single static IP address in Sydney for all VPN exit traffic.

        • For a service like Netflix if they see 10+ accounts originating from a single IP they may block it due to suspect VPN endpoint.

  • Nice deal OP. Thanks

I have a subscription with PIA and cannot get access to Toggle live in Singapore as it is blocked. Can you assure me that I am able to gain access to Toggle live in Singapore. Thanks

    • +2

Show me a way to test it (for free) and I'll try find out :)

    • I tested it with Nord VPN, just to see. No luck. It says I'm outside Singapore even after trying half a dozen Singapore-based exit servers.

I installed the app (play store) and used my Nord VPN app to switch to different servers while trying to load a different Toggle channel each time.

Would be good to know if Op's box can do it.

  • Hi PhillipDi. Download the app Toggle and then run the live channels to see if it works. Thanks

  • Hi, can I ask if this allows me to access google etc. while I travel to China? Also I have never used a VPN before, can this be set up and used on my mobile device while using international roaming in China? Thanks

    • +1

Pretty sure they block IPS and detectable protocols, and from memory openvpn was detected.

  • Hi, I have try to order it and I cannot get my account to be confirmed as I receive email with nothing in it.
Could you help me with this?

  • Yet to get my order fulfilled, paid through bitcoin
    [Order #13281] (29/08/2019)

Receiving empty email for account verification

    • hey mate please PM me

    • Hi mate, there was an issue with the transaction, it has since been fixed and the email with your client was released.
      Thank you

    • did you get it?
