Just saw Amart Furniture's Facebook event post.
$2 Yoshi Stools for one day only at all Amart Furniture stores Australia wide. There are only 50 stools in each store at this price, to the first 50 customers.
When: Saturday 10th August 2019, from 9am to 5pm
Design and stock may vary in each store.
Limit of one per customer.
In store only.
Fun fact: the Japanese word yoshi just means "good", and people often use it as an exclamation of enthusiasm like a fist-pump "Yeah!"

Auburn had like 70 people in line before open too - they gave out numbered tickets which was very fair and smart
So many people grabbing stools but not grabbing the number as you need the number to purchase for $2 as they only have 50 numbered tokens
Huh. so that's what a 'Black Friday~esque' lineup of people looks like. never experienced it myself before.
I got lucky ticket number 50, by the time I found "a" stool (since they were scattered around the store instead of in one designated area) all the good ones with wooden legs were taken.
Ah well. Can't complain at $2
What a waste of time only available to the first 50 customers that walk in the door whether they're buying a still or not. More of a scam than a deal.
Yup. Got to the local store at 5 past nine. Didn't know anything about the ticket. Just grabbed one of the stool and straight to the counter. Was told need to pay $29 because I didn't have a ticket. Felt like a (profanity). Not happy Jan.
