That was a great game intact I still own the cartridge

      • took me about 20 lives at the time, to figure out the Egypt puzzle where the walls would crush unless the correct stone sequence was put in. I thought the goal was to outpace the wall and climb out beforehand.
Also that never-ending circular level at Transylvania =)
or the maze like numbered doors in India … the music was so paralyzing too, like 'I need to figure this out before the music hypnotised me to sleep'

  • Great game.

I got it for my kids who got excited about DuckTales again due to the excellent new series of the cartoon that's on Stan right now. Showed them the original TV series and bought this game.

I was suprised how well playable it is considering it's such a close remake of a 1980s NES game. And the new animation is really lovingly done and very true to the original cartoon.

But what really amazed me was how they got all the original voice actors to read all the lines. I though they'd all be dead or something.

Normally I recommend you just watch a youtube video if you want to try a NES game, but this one is actually good enough to play if you're at all a fan of DuckTales.

So if it's on steam you will retain this after it has been removed?

    • I would like to know too.

    • Yes, if you already bought it you'll still have it in your library. You just won't be able to buy it after that date.

    • Yes, you can still download and play it. You just cannot buy it on Steam anymore.
