So this might be a bit of a niche one, but I think it's an excellent deal. I've been looking at a new bikes (never not looking at new bikes to be honest…) and found a great discount on this one. Listed as "final clearance" so not sure how long it will last.
So RRP is $6499. This site commonly has long running 10-20% discounts on many of their bikes, but 46% is pretty significant. I'd guess it would normally be around the $5000-5500 range.
The specs on this thing are also more reminiscent of a bike somewhere over $5k. Full carbon frame, XT brakes, SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain… it's a very good deal for an enduro rig. There's nothing I'd immediately upgrade on this, aside from a quick tubeless conversion.
For those that are considering it look up some reviews on the bike, particularly the NAILD R3ACT suspension system. From what I understand it's a pretty unique beast; very low damping, tracks the ground super well, but isn't as good for getting air and stunts? Either way though Bicycles Online offer a 14 day trial period so if you find it isn't for you then you can get it picked up again for a free return.
This obviously isn't something you would leave chained to a bike rack in fitzroy is it
