So this might be a bit of a niche one, but I think it's an excellent deal. I've been looking at a new bikes (never not looking at new bikes to be honest…) and found a great discount on this one. Listed as "final clearance" so not sure how long it will last.

So RRP is $6499. This site commonly has long running 10-20% discounts on many of their bikes, but 46% is pretty significant. I'd guess it would normally be around the $5000-5500 range.

The specs on this thing are also more reminiscent of a bike somewhere over $5k. Full carbon frame, XT brakes, SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain… it's a very good deal for an enduro rig. There's nothing I'd immediately upgrade on this, aside from a quick tubeless conversion.

For those that are considering it look up some reviews on the bike, particularly the NAILD R3ACT suspension system. From what I understand it's a pretty unique beast; very low damping, tracks the ground super well, but isn't as good for getting air and stunts? Either way though Bicycles Online offer a 14 day trial period so if you find it isn't for you then you can get it picked up again for a free return.

This obviously isn't something you would leave chained to a bike rack in fitzroy is it

For reference, I don't chain my bike up… it's either in my car or in my house if I'm not using it. Insured too. Don't mess around with these things.

What’s your address again and what time do you leave for work?

    • It should be fine, as there aren't any pedals…

I see people remove the seat sometimes but I guess some people may enjoy the ride 😁

Off to bed for you young man…

  • At this price point I’d cheat and buy a 1000W dual drive electric MTB. But I’m not as fit as OP.

  • Thought i saw this chain stay design on a polygon?

Too bad it comes with RockShox suspension.

Does anyone else find this bike's design fugly?

Or is beauty in the eyes of the beholder?

    • Most downhill bikes seem to be fugly by design. It is part of the macho image.

      • FYI this is not a downhill bike its an All mountain enduro, the rear shock is not nearly enough for downhill.

Meh .. dual suspension, large travel, tiny chainring … too many categories now to keep up :-)

          • @bargaino: too many categories.. but still not enough bikes in the garage? :p

          • @bargaino: fair enough was just letting people know incase they expected that from this bike
