The colour isn't for everyone, which I assume is partly the reason for the low price. This specific model (Quincy Jones signature) went out of production a couple of years ago.
I'm a bit suspicious of the price, but from what research I've done, there isn't really a market for counterfeit Q701's. I paid with PayPal just to be sure.
Despite being 62 ohms 105 SPL/V, these are apparently fairly difficult to properly drive. Amp required.
@aja12: Sorry I missed this post before. I emailed them and they said I could wait for stock from the supplier or have the order cancelled. I chose to wait, but I'm not sure how long to be patient for.

None of those. Mine has been shipped, and at least one other person here has commented that there’s has shipped. I’d say lowish stock, a subpar inventory script on the website, and Ozbargain directing an unusually large volume of traffic (5000 clicks) in a short space of time. People placing order for multiple units wouldn’t have helped. Even if only 1/10 of those clicks resulted in a purchase, that still 500 units (assuming people were only ordering one unit) sold in a short space of time. I get that people are disappointed, it’s happened to me several times before with different sellers, but at least TobyDeals appears to be processing refunds fairly quickly and issuing $10 credits, which not many grey importers would do.

Maybe check your junk-mail. They were reasonably quick at responding once they had confirmed they had more orders than stock, unlike [say] HP.

I was too late on following up my order that was stuck in processing it seems, once I did, the reply sounded promising, but then suddenly received a refund :(
@todayssawyer: Same. That was the outcome I got too. They're on their way. I did have to take initiative to get that outcome, and specifically ask to wait until they had stock too.
I received a shipping confirmation recently, so looks like I was one of the lucky ones. For info, from the email timestamp I can see that I placed my order 10 minutes after the deal was posted. (I only ordered one, for personal use, not to resell)

Good news on my end, got a reply saying they were unsure when the greens would be back in stock so they just sent me ones in white instead today.

My order was just cancelled. Ordered 10 minutes after the deal was posted. No email from TobyDeals. Only payment confirmation emails from PayPal. Followed up on status today and received a generic email just then (17 days after the order was placed) saying refund will be processed. Pretty unhappy with TobyDeals lack of communication.
My money just arrived after they cancelled mine too. Unreliable bunch - won't trust them with my money again.
My experience with these guys was quite positive. When I contacted them about the order, they asked me to confirm the cancellation because of lack of stock. I opted to wait instead, and 20 days later my journey in obtaining these has come to an end (although I have white ones instead of green).
Great product and an insanely good price. Once the order was finally sorted, they were here from HK in less than a week too. Thanks for the bargain, OP!
Awesome, glad it eventually worked out for you man. One of the better audio bargains I’ve picked up. Paired with a JDS Labs Atom amp they sound great, and they’re definitely not bass light as some comments suggested (not when amped properly anyway).
